I wonder then how Mauls relate to Vampire Lords. player, I have just over 800, yet only 140 neck bites and about 300 kills so far.

....Curious.

Indeed, they didn't show that you need Vampire's seduction to do that!

Nope! Unless it tracks cumulative across all the characters (which I don't think it does). On this character I've never been a Werewolf.

I evaded starting the main quests, never visiting Whiterun until I was 20 or so and I absolutely had too. I took a carraige straight to Windhelm, did the quest for the house, then started and completed the civil war on the Stormwind side, started the Dark Brotherhood line along the way as well as the Thieves Guild for some revenue.

As soon as I bought Hjerim in Windhelm I started Dawnguard and ran through the Vamp side (second time through). Since then I've been doing radiant quests for various factions, searching out daedric weapons, exploring, vamping out  , and hitting the various trainers for my main skills....all in the past 40 levels  .

Hi guys, in my pursuit to make the most powerful werewolf possible, i am trying to identify any perks or skills that will have an effect in werewolf form. My question is, does anyone know if the "Avoid Death" perk in the restoration tree works in werewolf form?

It has on my game before. Saved me many times when a dragon just suddenly popped up when I was on the Whiterun plains (then it didn't land...)

Carrots has a 'list' of things that you can do to beef up your werewolf.

I'm 90% positive that it will carry over into your beast form, I haven't tested it but I can make an educated guess that it will. Let me know if your having issues with testing, I'll start a new werewolf character built with the Restoration perk tree

It works. It's one of my bread and butter perks. keep in mind how ever that it only works once a day. Much better then not having it, but not perfect. Just that little extra life insurance for when things get harry. Snakeblood from the Alchemy tree is damn handy, as is the stealth perk for not activating pressure plates. Again I can never stress enough how i recamend ever last perk in the Alteration tree. Flesh spells are your best friend and can help your wolf hit the armor cap mid to late game. Destruction Dual Casting is also handy for milking the most out of the various cloak spells if such is your prefference.
Potions, soups and stews are of great help as well.

-edit- the only atcual 'downside' to relying on Beast Form as your primary means of killing is that you'll be forced to do a fair amount of skill grinding outside of combat. Restoration is easy enough if you're willing to grab the Atronach Stone and progress the MQ to the point were you have access to the back of High Hrothgar. The wind wall there is perfect for waterfall meditation style restoration training. For Alteration, Horkers. They are slow, persistent and stupid. Simply poke a few near Dawnstar and hop up on a rock were they can't reach you to start casting flesh spells. Alchemy takes work. and or money if you pay for training.

My hunting grounds are in somewhat of an "L" shape in southwestern Skyrim. I use the Reach, Falkreath, Southern Whiterun Hold, and The Rift. Those are pretty much the forested areas of Skyrim.

I also use this mod: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/12687. It causes for positioning of the moon to often cause transformations out of my control. So, in that case, I leave civilization during the full moon to hunt. It's a very immersive and awesome way to play a werewolf.

Wish there was forced transformations in the vanilla game to begin with, don't get me wrong I like the way it's done now but from an immersive point of view forced transformations would have added sooOOOoo much to the RP value of werewolves. I would love to be in the middle of town on business and forget that it's a full moon, change and end up having to fight my way out of town. And they had their chance to add " true " lycanthropy with DG, where it's so rare to have a werewolf encounter it would lessen the complaints because it would be rare to contract the " true " lycanthropy. Then all they would have to do is add a little code so that the game gives you a warning message in the top left corner of the HUD letting you know when it's a full moon, then there is no reason to complain unless your like me and you forget to pay attention to said warnings  Or you could be a Super nerd like myself and track the phases of the moon on your own :nerd: , either way it could have been added to the game with DG, and I must admit.... I am a little green with envy when it comes to Pcer's and your mods, I've had a look and even tried out some of the nicer werewolf mods ( " Tales of Lycanthropy " mod ) and they do add a little extra to the werewolf, just wish Beth would take notes and make their own go at a "true" werewolf instead of the " Underworld " style werewolf ( which is still fun but I'm old school and would enjoy a " real " werewolf even more  ).
