I like to stalk the northern snowy areas myself. My favorite area to hunt is around Winterhold. Nothing like charging at the silhouette of a bandit in a snowstorm and surprising him with a power swipe to the face. :bunny:

Try going claw to claw with Charus Hunters in the lightless depth under the Forgotten Vale. Those things are fast as hell and pack a real whollop!
That reminds me.. time to see if there are any Hunters in Blackreach... I do so love a challenging hunt, and bandits just don't provide that any more. Bandit Cheifs are more like Happy Meals with shiney wrappers!

carrots have you tried the list of controls I gave to see if you can control which kill animation you get? Just curious if those controls translate to the 360.

I've noticed if you have a kill shot with the right trigger you do the 'jump and play patty cake on their chest' animation, left trigger does the neck bite. I never tried out both though.

Yeah try both which lets you grab and lift your prey. press left or do nothing and you rip their head off. press right and you toss them. I tossed a forsworn off a cliff. never found the body.

I'm trying to get a console code and although this thread doesn't seem like the place to ask some [censored] sent me over here. I need a console cheat to get my perks back and another to start up the totem quests. Dawn guard was deactivated somehow and I lost all my progress in the wolf perk tree. Any help would be appreciated.

I only have a list of console commands for the standard trees unfortunatly I don't know any for the werewolf dawnguard perk tree. :(

For anyone on PC there is a mod called Realistic Werewolves - Werewolf Sound Overhaul ( http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/13779 ) that changes all of the sounds your werewolf makes. I'm using the feral werewolf sounds version and it is pretty amazing. He has a couple of videos in the description page that allow you to hear what each version sounds like. Now when I transform I let out an awesome howling sound.

Isn't The Ring of Hircine suppose to give you extra transformations in a day? Can't get it to work for me anybody know how or why???

I never used the ring. However my understanding of it is that it will turn you into a werewolf at random times and that transformation does not count as your werewolf beast power transformation. I can't confirm this. Have done the quest for it a dozen times but since those characters were already werewolves, I took the savior armor instead.

Are you still using the cursed version? If so then that would be the reason. The cursed version has a chance (10% if I remember right) to randomly turn you at any time( if you are already a werewolf) and can't be activated by the player. If you are using the cleansed version then make sure you have the ring on and then go to your powers under magic and select the Ring of Hircine power and activate it as you would a shout. The cleansed version (Which is just called Ring of Hircine) has an unlimited number of uses.

When you first get the ring it will be a quest item, and will perminently be on your finger (if I remember correctly). This makes you transform at random, which sounds like fun to me...but while I had it I never changed :( .
Once you complete the quest line and keep the ring, when you wear it you'll gain +1 transformation.
When you put it on you'll gain "Ring of Hircine" in your Magic section under the Powers sub-menu.
When you change into a Werewolf, you'll unequip everything.
When you revert back to human (or mer) you can re-equip the ring, find the 'spell' in your Powers sub-menu again and turn wolf.
Rinse - Repeat.
Infinite transformations. :D

I may have encountered a glitch... But after selecting the Savage Feeding perk I can no longer feed off humans. :(

I reloaded some older saves... same thing. Don't know when it stopped working and I don't have any saves further back before I got Savage Feeding perk. At least it was the last perk I needed.

So now I use a Nexus mod that gives me infinite transmformations but they time out like a regular werewolf transformation if you don't feed. But with a push of a button I can transform again. ah well. I feel like its cheating cause well it is. But I can't feed anymore :(

That svcks man  I guess your stuck as a noble werewolf that only feeds on animals. By the by...I tried out the trigger combinations for the kill cams and I can confirm that they do infact work, been throwing people left and right since you asked me to try it out  Popping heads is a very entertaining pass time as well

Well in the process of trying to find a Nexus mod to fix this issue I found a cool one. I can "infect" followers and on command have them transform into werewolves. They don't need to feed and can return to human form when told to "calm the beast" Been getting some good screen shots.

Silly question but how do you maul a victim? I've torn off heads, tossed people 50 ft in the air. Ripped them apart with claws or bit them to pieces. I've run and charged one hit kill power attacks... yet my maul counter is 7?

Mauls are caused by killing an enemy without a animation, I believe.

75% of all my kills are without those animations. But I do have a Dance of Death killcam turned on... maybe its messing with the counter.
