Wait, what? Ed Stern told me [SPOILER ALERT] that BRINK takes place in the Star Wars universe (during the "Clone Wars" ages when everyone was comic-ish and had exaggerated attributes) and the Jedi and Sith origin from the end of this civil war, as when chemical experiments are discovered and make people mutate.

What the hell. Richard Ham told me personally that the whole game takes place in the Lord of the Rings universe. Actually there's no flooding. The orcs just had to flee after the defeat of Sauron(?) and they all came to the ARK. That's why the faces of the characters look so "ugly". Also, the Founders tower is actually a magical shrine where they keep another eye of Sauron in secret.

Note: Don't know if the name of the bad guy was actually Sauron. xD

Hm, can't be Saurons tower (yeah, that's the bad guy), because it's being destroyed in the end. Must be Sarumans tower. And that area got flooded. So I guess you know the true story.

I'm not sure. Rahdo might have lied. Ed Stern seems plausible as well since he has something to do with writing the storyline.

Same universem, Tattooine is really Earth. Waterworld scientists nuked Jupiter in order to convert it into a second sun and dry out the planet.

since the Ark is kind of a FLOATING island, the rising sea caused by melting ice caps possibly picked it from the California coast and drifted it out to sea further. not ALL of the United States flooded. Coastal areas yes, but thats it. There are still people living around the world. The refugees from those coastal areas just ended up on the Ark. They can't get contact with anyone probably because the drifted out so far. That's my anolysis. And btw. The game starts right near in the beginning of this conflict between the resistance and the security. That's what I heard during an interview.
