What armor will you take into Zion

Post » Fri May 13, 2011 11:37 am

I will use the only armor that weighs 1 to 2 pounds and gives 13 DT.

NCR Ranger armor + Terrifying Presence + (maybe) Joshua Graham = Watch out, Zion.

Light. Chinese Stealth Suit. Been rocking it since the day I found it. I just wish it still cloaked you like in FO3.

When people ambush in the wasteland, they kill. Obviously you won't die, obviously you'll have your stuff. Obviously you shouldn't even be in this forum.

Light. Because it's... well, light. And I already made myself run faster with it, so it's all good. The trick is to go asymmetric; apply your strengths against your foe's weaknesses. It's how one can match deathclaws while wearing absolutely nothing at all; you can wait all day in a shady secluded spot for the perfect chance to reduce a deathclaw's entire head to a fine pink mist with a gauss or anti-materiel rifle.

that was just poetry man :cryvaultboy:

Good old Enclave power armour. After playing Dead Money, if I can take my own armour with me this time then it's going to be something that will damn well protect me.

Van Graff Combat Armor, I stole it from the box by the door and now it says that it's a quest item and I can't drop it. it's weightless, so that's nice.

Haha I know what you're sayin! Especially if the tribals are like the Hillbillies from Point Lookout. Statistically...the Trackers were the same as Deathclaws...

If you've heard of the Tailor Maid mod, I have the Armored Vault suit straps and padding applied to a Sheriff's Duster that has the equal DT, weight and value of Reinforced Leather Armor. I just swap the two out when I acquire a reinforced leather armor suit.

Light Armor. The lightest stuff I have that offers at least a point or two of protection. Probably a Prospector Outfit now that the weight is more reasonable (1.5)
