What armor will you take into Zion

Post » Fri May 13, 2011 8:22 am

Since you must travel light, what armor will you take? Will you be heading in with probably just Combat Armor like me, that you'll probably drop for better armor anyways? Or will you run balls out with centurion or ranger armor to kick but?

Light. Because it's... well, light. And I already made myself run faster with it, so it's all good. The trick is to go asymmetric; apply your strengths against your foe's weaknesses. It's how one can match deathclaws while wearing absolutely nothing at all; you can wait all day in a shady secluded spot for the perfect chance to reduce a deathclaw's entire head to a fine pink mist with a gauss or anti-materiel rifle.

I'll take a Vault 11 suit (only one with DT) and switch to whatever I pick up.

Yeah I love Heavy Armors best. I'm hoping that I can get the SLCPD armor and that it's heavy. I love PA's too. I wanted to play FO1 and FO2 but it doesn't work with Windows 7 :\

Why dont you do this instead. Go there in the nvde.

Medium, taking my ranger vet outfit and i'll probably take my vault 34 security outfit too just in case.

If I play DM before HH I may just take the SM armor.

Well, on second thought, I might bring a Sierra Madre Armor, Reinforced, and just bring a Zap glove.

Assassin Suit for the extra stealth(+10), vault 3 utility jumpsuit (Lockpick +5, Repair +5), Followers Lab Coat (Medicine +10, Science +10), Lucky Shades(Luck +1), Great Khan Spike Helmut to show my tribal roots and melee weapons only. Including a few of my favourites: rolling pin, 9 iron and for the really messy jobs a Ripper. My character is a natural born killer.

Reinforced combat armor mark1, why you may ask? well i think mark 2 looks to bulky and the non reinforced version look not future soldier enough.

Although I disagree with the choice of using combat armor I do agree with your assessment the MARK II having a bulky look and feel to it. Good luck in HH.

I'm using it in the beginning of this DLC becaue 1. I'll probably drop it, that's why I'm not taking my Sierra Madre Reinforced Armor. 2. It's reliable. Why do you not like it? I mean..it's kinda generic but just curious :cookie:
