What armor will you take into Zion

Post » Fri May 13, 2011 5:20 pm

I'm using it in the beginning of this DLC becaue 1. I'll probably drop it, that's why I'm not taking my Sierra Madre Reinforced Armor. 2. It's reliable. Why do you not like it? I mean..it's kinda generic but just curious :cookie:

:fallout:

i will be using it until i find a new sort of combat armor in the DLC's and i don't think this DLC will have a new one so i am probably gona keep it on.
And i like combat armor mk1 bacause it looks kinda future soldier/wastland organised merc company look and i think PA is just lame i don't know why.

Don't like the merc look at all haha. I love PA because you look BA ^_^ But they HAVE to have new armor in this dlc. It's just not cool if they don't. It makes it like point lookout...nothin cool to wear!

Nothing says a merc knows what he's is doing like combat armour and an assault rifle in good condition.

For me, I am recalling Dead Money and I fell short with several speech checks, particularly with DOG/GOD (needed +5 more) with my first go round and was forced to kill him/"them?". This time I want my first go to have all available skill increases with apparel and skill magazines (assuming I can bring at least a few of each, why would tribes have them?) so I can have all available dialogue options. And to be honest my character could virtually run in his birthday suit, get punched, stabbed and shot at for 10's of seconds and then start to take notice (XBOX user and not smart enough/lazy enough to MOD it). Are u taking b/c of your character build? Low level???

maybe in fallout 3...there's also the fact that there's no assault rifle in NV. ALSO. Mercs are stepped on by Brotherhood. Nothing says you know what you're doing like a Laser Rifle and Power Armor :toughninja:

If you survived DM at level one you are, if not a god, a demi-god among the inhabitants of FONV! I bow down to your supremacy.

I made a modded battlefield scenario with 5 Talon Company Mercs and 5 BoS Paladins....Let's just say....Talon company isn't all they're cracked up to be...ok so none of the talon company mercs survived. The most health one paladin lost was 2 health bars.

That's because non of the mercs where equipt with reinforced combat armor and non where wielding assault carbines who have a -10 DT effect and they would problebly use AP rounds with a -25DT effect that destroys PA (i also like combat armor so much because it's kind of the underdog compared to PA  )

I had a New Vegas dream once. I was stuck at Hoover Dam with Boone ducking my head under these sandbags afraid as heck to lift my head, randomly firing my Service Rifle above the sandbags and some how hitting these tall, slow moving Centurions running with Thermic Lances. I was scared out of my wits!!!

Ok, I see people state what armor+++ they are bringing but why are u bringing it? From what we've seen so far it is two tribes warring and we get to decide who we stand/fall with (if at all)! How can a tribes person with flesh exposed withstand the onslaught of a medium FONV Caravaneer??? J'essin. My reasonong is for full game play with dialogue re: /medical/science/lockpick/repair/sneak etc...

Light weight armor either leather or reinforced leather I like a challenge so I'm bringing stuff that'll last just until I start getting HH equipment.

They can't, that's why the DLC will be unbalanced in favor of the PC, which is the reason I'm wearing a jumpsuit for the DLC.

On that note:
OP, again; Why isn't there a [Clothing] option in the poll?
