You're telling me. Those things svck money right out of your hand.
You know there is an achievement called "http://www.xbox360achievements.org/game/fallout-new-vegas/achievement/43058-One-Armed-Bandit.html" that you get if you play 10 spins of slots.

In hardcoe mode I am not %100 sure on how the save system works but im sure you can save as many times as you want at any point of the game like normal. Thing is since you can reload your game, your never going to ever lose money at the Casino's unless you decide that reloading the game after losing all your money would fall under cheating or taking the fun out of the game. I garauntee you that anyone who walks into New Vegas after hours of playing collecting money and goes into a Casino & loses all there money they are going to reload the game lol.

That takes the whole point of gambling out, I think so because you can walk into a Casno & drop a ton down and know if you lose it all you can just reload and try again.

The way around this?

They somehow made it were your characters money is tied to other saved games so that unless you reload a game that was like 10 hours prior to losing your money then you will end up loading a game with the amount of money you had after losing. That would making gambling more fun I think (and frustrating possibly) but you would at least feel like your gambling.

I am personally not using this way of cheating, except on slot machines. Which I won't hardly use. I want gambling to feel real

He has a point, once you have one 2k caps from a casino (over time or all at once) you get banned, there is a achievement for being banned from every casino. Even after being banned you can go to the casinos, you just can't gamble.

Is it actually confirmed that you get banned at 2.000 chips; or are people still thinking that because Mr. Sawyer got kicked out when he won that much in the demo vid?

It isn't confirmed but that's what people seem to think at the moment.

Yeah it's like when you buy something from Ikea and it only has written instructions and no pictures.

It was said that a flash version was going to be put online before the game comes out, but I haven't heard anything about it since the rules came out. I wish it would, since I have a hard time understanding the caravan rules as well.

Yeah, sadly it looks like we're going to be thrown into the deep end and have to figure it out from there and a couple of painful losses.
