Pre-order Disappointment

Actually the .223 round is in the game, it's just called 5.56 round.

Not entirely correct, that was actually a mistake when i first got into reloading. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/.223_Remington now mil spec guns designed to shoot 5.56 shoot the .223 rounds no problem whatsoever (one of the reasons i pretty much stick to milspec ARs) but put 5.56 in a .223 the chamber pressure can do some wonky things to the bolt and the castle key.

Looking at my sig I just thought of this. If there is a .223 pistol, all will be forgiven. I won't give two craps about any suit if I can use my favorite weapon in any video game ever once again.

Hey dont get mad at the pre order, you didnt even know you got a bonus, so be happy you get somthing to help you get started, (Btw if you play hardcoe mode use that canteen it makes it so you can use a canteen with any armour, other canteens come attached to armours and only work if you wear that armour) also i heard that stimpacks were more rare, the pistol improved, the armoured suit better then your begginer stuff and the fact that ethier way you get a vault suit at beging. The game says the doc hands you and a vault suit and sends you on your way.

Pre-order incentives, with no thought or planning from the actual dev team involved.

I'd actually assume that there was plenty of Dev team thought and planning that went into having Vault 13 homage equipment (Vault Suit and Canteen) in the pre-order packs. Along with the planning involved in making the items in each pack fit their "theme". (Like the caravan & tribal packs, with appropriate armor, weapons, and accessories.)

/shrug

I will say that it's nice to see a *new* complaint about the pre-order packs, instead of yet another retread of the old ones ("how dare they sell me an incomplete game, all these items should be included" "how dare they force me to buy four copies of the game, because I'm obsessive about collecting all promo item" "how dare the only store local to me not have the pack I want" etc, etc, etc)

:)

This can be solved by simply canceling your pre-order and ordering from wal-mart,amazon,best-buy etc. I don't know i like the jumpsuit but if you need a reason for keeping the classic pack it would have to be the canteen.

I wanna pre-order without getting a pre-order bonus. I love the Vault 21 jumpsuit and 9mm pistol. Playing the game how it was supposed to play.

you could just hand over the code to a friend who won′t get the pre order bonus you have ,since the devs have confirmed you can have more then one type of bonus at the same time.
