Of course the guy spilling his beans on youtube could be [censored]ing everyone. If he's not Werewolf&Vampire will probably be quite happy.

I can honestly say that the Beta key thing is absolutely rediculous. Half of 1%? Really? That's like giving the finger to every single fan that they had, and now, because of their choice, they have most-likely lost tens of thousands of players. I would have gone into the beta to test and have fun, and now I have to pay $20 for it? 1. That's a rip-off, and 2. Bethesda may be the cheapest company on Earth. I could've uploaded videos of the beta to YouTube to showcase what Bethesda had done with their time since the release of the main game, and gain a whole bunch of subscribers. But now my hopes have been destroyed, and I will not be buying this DLC. Congrats, Bethesda, you just lost a fan.
Umm what? You're mad they didnt give you something for free? They are probably glad you arent a fan then. They werent going to give away alot of DLC they would lose so much money.

that doesn't sound entitled at all. And yes it is worth it. Knights of the nine was the same price for less so stop being such a spoiled child.

Darn, just had a bit of Dawnguard spoiled by that guy on the official trailer. Didnt see any big spoilers, though.

But anyway, I'll probably be joining the Dawnguard with my Battlemage, and a new mage character for the Vampires.

The guy was trolling. It was all a bunch of lies! Really? Visit Sithis in the void to rescue Aela? Are you kidding me? It was obvious it was all a bunch of lies.

I'm still working on my build but I might be almost there.

Name: Abigail Whistler, Dawnguard
Race: Breton

Tree 1: Archery
Tree 2: One-Handed (for Dawnbreaker)
Tree 3: Destruction (Vampires are weak to Fire)
Tree 4: Conjuration (Vampires will be conjuring)
Tree 5: Alteration (Detect Dead, Paralyze, Flesh spells)
Skill 6: Sneak (I just always do this but no perks)

I'm really looking forward to making the character. I might just make her early and put her aside to wait for the release.

Ah, how I love the "ignore" system.

In any case, when will we get real Dawnguarr information?

I've also made two new characters in preparation for Dawnguard. The first is using Heavy Armour, Archery, and Sneak in combat, and I'm planning on having him use a crossbow when they become available. The second character is using Illusion, Alteration, and Conjuration, and will hopefully become a vampire pretty soon.

I have an assassin/illusionist set up for the vampire side, he's pretty naff in open combat though so he will probably need to rely on the vampire lord form for most confrontations. Pretty good health and magicka capacity though.

Hypothetically If I was a beta tester for Dawnguard I'd prewrite pages for the usep and save them in a word processor then wait to post them until after Dawnguards offical release date. I'm certain some of the actual beta testers have had that idea so come June 26th we'll probably see everything released on the wiki and usep.

Looking at the beta testers, I doubt many of them even know what UESP is.

No prep, just business as usual.
My character is a vampire assassin, I should have wrapped up the DB line just as Dawnguard drops so it's a tailor made progression to just step into the vamp faction and carry on being evil.

Before I point out everything wrong with this post, I must first congratulate you for bringing up something entirely off topic and stupid, thereby bringing life to this thread it may not have had otherwise. Now then, I'll speak my mind. When I have to read a wall of text like this post, I tend to miss things, so if I miss something, tell me. So, for people like me, I'll put this in a convenient list format stating the errors I saw.

1) Oh, boo-hoo, you're not one out of the 50 or so total people picked? Deal with it in a mature manner like the rest of us.
-Note: posting about it in the wrong topic isn't mature.
2) Oh no, you have to pay $20 dollars for something the other 5,000 of us have to pay $20 for as well? What a tragedy!
3) Uploading that to YouTube would've ended in a lawsuit, and going up against a legal department the size of Bethesda's would cost you a considerable amount more than the DLC itself.
4) Lost tens of thousands of players? Get real, man. Not even that many signed up for the beta, and most can deal with it better than you.
5) The beta wasn't for you to have fun, it was for responsible people (a.k.a. "NOT YOU") to find errors and improve the experience for everyone.
6) "Congrats, Bethesda, you just lost a fan"? One fan out of the total number they have is nothing, and I call BS. You're probably playing Skyrim right now and you're probably gonna buy Dawnguard the day of its release.
7) NOBODY CARES! We're all disappointed, and we all dealt with it. We don't care about your drama, so please, be realistic.

You people are getting on my nerves.
