I'm actually playing Oblivion. I have a fresh level 10 character waiting for me to start again for Dawnguard. Also you accidentally double posted the thread. I won't roleplay because i've no intrest in becoming a vampire or vampire hunter, so guess I will play the whole DLC ooc.

I can honestly say that the Beta key thing is absolutely rediculous. Half of 1%? Really? That's like giving the finger to every single fan that they had, and now, because of their choice, they have most-likely lost tens of thousands of players. I would have gone into the beta to test and have fun, and now I have to pay $20 for it? 1. That's a rip-off, and 2. Bethesda may be the cheapest company on Earth. I could've uploaded videos of the beta to YouTube to showcase what Bethesda had done with their time since the release of the main game, and gain a whole bunch of subscribers. But now my hopes have been destroyed, and I will not be buying this DLC. Congrats, Bethesda, you just lost a fan.

Hah...really.

There are companies out there that do **** 10x worse than this. Hell, Mass Effect, for example, gave you DLC on the first day of the game release. Then they gave the players a crap ending that made efforts in all 3 games worthless. And you think Bethesda lost players for not giving out DLC a couple weeks earlier?

The Elder Scrolls fanbase isn't 'nearly' that butthurt over it. You're one of the few prime exceptions.

You do realize that if you would have gotten into the beta and made a video or let out any info, you would have gotten sued.

Paying for an add on is a rip off? Lose tens of thousands of fans? Your views are warped my friend.

Do you cry this much when you don't win any competition? They clearly did a good choice of picking the people to do the beta seeing as there is no info about it from anybody. people like you posting it on youtube for subscribers is why only a select few could do it.

Also, bethesda cheap? Lol you're cheap its only $20.

If you were allowed into the beta and did what you said you would do, you would most definitely be sued. You dodged a bullet on this one. If anything, you should be THANKING Beth.

I dont understand why people are so angry. If they had the DLC now they would have probobly been done with it in one day. Then they would be crying to bethesda for MOOR! So they bassicaly just helped us out. We can enjoy the DLC closer to another release.

There is a guy in the official trailer on youtube spilling the beans on Dawnguard. Bethesda will get to him!

This is the very reason only half of 1% were chosen. So that it would be that much easier to find anybody who would leak info. That guy commenting on the video's got some balls breaking the NDA, and not just on some hum drum site nobody knows about, but the official Bethesda Dawnguard trailer. Poor guy doesn't know what he's doing.

I'm glad you didn't get in. Bethesda seems to have chosen the right people to beta test, we've got some very competent people working hard. :)

Considering I won't be playing it for quite some time I see no reason whatsoever to prepare. I'm sure there will be plenty of good ol' fashion Bethesda handholding to make any preparations unnecessary though.
