An NDA won't protect PC or PS3 users. :/

And your point to this is?

The Beta will only be given out to people who sign NDA's, Non Disclosure Agreements. Which means if you talk about the game before release, you get sued.
What if somebody tells a friend then thu tell a friend then that friend leaks it. Like I said, impossible to stop. People need to be responsible

he's talking about the timed exclusivity.

NDAs don't really mean anything anymore, especially when anybody can go on CERTAIN IMAGEBOARD and post a bunch of [censored] from the game anonymously. all that matters is whether or not people actually take it seriously.

as far as this forum, though, i think a lot of people seem to not realize that the mods here are ridiculously vigilant. anything bordering on spoiler will almost certainly be moved to the spoiler section within minutes.

People saying "it can't be spoiled because of an NDA". The NDA only lasts until the official XBox360 release, but many (if not most) players will still have to wait an extra month where spoilers will freely be thrown around without NDAs.

The beta is only open for US Citizens, and they will probably have to sign a NDA to do it too. If they leak any information, chances are that they will be sued into Oblivion.

It's starting with US folks. If you signed up, you agreed to the NDA terms at the end.

Yes, there is no restriction on folks who get the DLC on public release for the 360 talking about it.

However, at least here, we do enforce the rules about posting spoilers in the General Section. And, if it follows most other games, there will an entire section of the boards for the DLCs, so it will be easy to avoid those whole sections if you don't want to read about it. Can't help you with other websites.

This is my concern. As a PS3 player I sincerely hope that Xbox users will have the courtesy to post any and all spoilers in the appropriate section, which I'll be staying well away from.

HI there Tinz3455!

The people who get chosen for beta really need to keep a tight lid. No spoilers please. Moderators are going to have to be very quick abou this.

...or a specific spoilerrific subforum could be created.

Yes, he's talking about the Dawnguard beta for XBox 360 owners. Bethesda is taking applications - there is a thread on the forum and a post on the Blog for details.

Guys, all I can say is there will be spoilers galore on other sites. Most news sites should be fine, and the forums should be fine. Just don't go to IGN or click any skyrim related links until you get dawnguard yourself.

I am expecting heavy banhammer usage here on those inconsiderate enough to leak directly on the site of the people who are trusting them with that info.

Its easy to avoid spoilers as long as you stay out of the inevitable (and probably locked) beta forum.

Just like previous beta tests for the xbox, people who get this just need to keep their mouths shut if they don't wanna get sued. Don't go looking for spoilers or you will find them.

Are you certain there's a true beta and you're not just misinterpreting the timed release?

You guys are worrying about the beta? Worry about what comes after the DLC getting released instead. We'll have the XBox crab-people talking about the DLC left and right while the PS3 and PC users won't be able to touch the new content for a month. You'll type 'Skyrim' into google or youtube and probably get flooded by massive Dawnguard spoilers.

But it's not like they can tell that many secrets. It'll contain some generic vampire, monster, vampire-hunter, vampire-hunter-monster arch and a fancy castle thing but we know that just by watching the trailer. Not much left to spoil. The DLC WILL be awesome and there's no need to care about anything else.

I know its hard, but try not to type "skyrim" into google.

I can guarantee you that you will get 40% results on mods, 40% spoilers on dawnguard, and 20% furries.

its not gonna be pretty.

and I may be underestimating the percent of furries.
