Ps3 version of skyrim is missing something.

I am 99.9% positive there are no random werewolf encounters in any version.

Do you play on xbox or pc and never seen one?

Look on the UESP werewolf page, it gives 5 ranks of wild werewolf and then says in the bugs sections that no wild ones can be encountered on the PS3, I assumed you can randomly be ambushed by one in the wild or something.

You have better exclusive games.
Exclusives have nothing to do with Skyrim at all, And back to the topic; PS3 Did have some exclusive content on other games, such as Mortal Kombat 9; Kratos, Tekken X Street fighter; More characters, etc...

Hey now! That's not true! We did have backwards flying dragons for a while and broken magic resistances

And, I don't know if you've experienced this, but when I was talking to Paarthunarx for the first time, he took off, hovered for a bit, and then went so high up into the sky that I couldn't hear him. He was spinning backwards. This happened YESTERDAY. AFTER THE 1.5 UPDATE.(Initiate face palm here) I've also started topics on stuff like this. Including the Vilkas glitch.

Playstation controller is too small

Same feeling here. The PS3 controller has never been as comfortable to me because of its size. We have both systems and I've played many hours on both. The 360 controller is much more comfortable for me to hold for long periods of time. I like how it is set up better too. But this is always going to be a matter of personal preference. Both controllers work just fine.

I've been wanting to get the PS3 version but have held off because of all the complaints of lag. I would enjoy using a the controller and playing on the TV, but for now I'm on the pc using the clunky keyboard/mouse combo. The pc version is pretty though so it has that going for it.

You know you can plug your PS3 controller to your PC using drivers like http://www.motioninjoy.com/, right?

It is a huge problem for me as well. I bought an X360 this gen so if Sony releases the PS4 with backwards compatitibility than I might be interested in it (check out the games I missed out on). Unfortunatly I'll need a special controller for it, it is too small and as a result the thumbstick layout means I have to stop playing after 30 minutes. Nothing beats the original XBOX controller in my book :)

I personally am fine without mods or kinect and like Skyrim how it is. I agree that it could be cool with move for combat even though i don't have it. IMHO i prefer it normal :)

Beth did not [censored] up the game for ps3.

If you think that voice recognition is being added exclusively to Xbox 360 because of the Power of Kinect? then you have really jumped in.

It would be just as easy to accept audio input (and it probably will be done) from the PS Eye, a USB microphone, BT headset, etc.

I also think it would be really cool to be able to use the Move for combat. Combat in Skyrim feels so lifeless that anything is welcome and might add a tremendous amount of enjoyment to the game. Move is set up perfectly for this type of thing. Unfortunately, it might not happen because if motion controls are going to be implemented, they'll be done on Kinect first- and Kinect's motion controls might be silly in Skyrim. I get the feeling that if Bethesda was ever going to add motion control, they would have done it with this update. No matter how well it would fit on PS3, I doubt that they'd add it there and not on 360.

i know what the ps3 version needs.

- buttons that work when pressed

- a framerate max above 20

- a framerate min above 0

...and all versions need a toggle for killcams.

I heard we might be able to upload mods on the ps3 someday. Ofcourse, that will take a while. I bet a year or so.

If you buy skyrim for the PC you get all these great mods, and you get all kinds of new quests.
Xbox version will soon be compatible with the kinnect so you can actually shout.
ps3 has...well...it has lag issues..

what I'm trying to say, I think the ps3 version is due for its own uniqueness...maybe use the move to swing your sword idk...any ideas?

I don't understand people...if you played Fallout 3 on PS3...which was inferior to the 360 version. In fact it was so horrible that after a certain point with all addons it became almost unplayble..It kept freezing all the time..you should have guessed that Skyrim wouldn't be any different.I guess Bethesda doesn't like programming on PS3 platform. After a few disappointing multiplatform titles on PS3 i decided to go with the 360 or PC versions.I only use my PS3 for the exclusive titles.
And for the move support..it is possible..maybe they will add move support sooner or later.

I'd like to say that I only bought Skyrim because of the verious obvious misrepresentation campaign propped up by Bethesda ("The PS3 is getting a ton of attention", "We have reached a place of good parity") that was trotted out pre-release.

But I would be lying. Truth TES & FO are my favorite game series, I would have bought it regardless.

1.5 years ago my xbox360 died, and I thought getting a PS3 would be nice since I've never played its exclusives and the other perks are nice. I bought OB and it plays better on PS3 than it ever did on my xbox.

But then I got the FO titles and was, needless to say, pretty disappointed. But FONV was/is still my favorite in the lineup since MW. But I had to delete DLC to keep FONV playable (waste of money there). I never considered FO3 a waste because I bought it used and its not terribly unplayable (non-goty edition anyway).

Still though, it seems apparent there was a concerted effort to misinform the PS3 community before release, and that is what is most irksome to me, they simply lack integrity. I used to be a Bethesda TES/FO f@nbo! to the extreme, but no longer.

and while skyrim has been (and still is) aggravatingly buggy mess at least it is playable here now, so I will keep playing.

What is there to add. I saw a topic exactly like this yesterday I believe.

Just because they are taking advantage of features on Xbox and PC does not mean they HAVE to do something for the PS3. Maybe if there was something on the PS3 that could be easily implemented into Skyrim, and they were not taking advantage of it, I would understand your point a bit more, but really, it does not make the Xbox version any better, its the same game. Its more of an update.

I do play on Xbox however, and I am a little interested in how Kinect will work, but I dont think it will hold peoples interests for long.
today...
