That doesn't make sense at all. If a friend buys skyrim and lends it to you for a while for $5, how is that supporting bethesda? The friend did, but nothing you did gave any money to them.
You are still supporting it because your friend bought the copy and you are still playing on a copy that was paid for. Remember you said you do not Support the buisness but you are still playing from a copy that was bought that supports the company. So while you did not give Bethesda the money, your friend did and you still playing on it and giving him the money. You are still giving money to play a game from Bethesda. Thing is your $5 is not going to Bethesda, but they still got thier $60. The only true way of not supporting the buisness is not playing the game at all.
You are still giving $5 to still play the right to play Skyrim. So in essence while Bethesda is not recieving Your money, you are still paying to play the game. So since you are paying to play the game, even though it's $5, that copy for $5 still had to pay $60 to be able to be played in the first place. That make any sense?
Thought that was given, since thats what the other guy was talking about.
Well if that was a given since you are talking about a console copy, why are you complaining about PC secureware then? Why complain about Steamworks etc etc if you will be playing on a 360 or PS3 then? Just curious.
