As a Merid-aligned(Arkay's just too boring) Altmer, my character will also join in with the Dawnguard.

My latest and most satisfying character is Buffy the Vampire Slayer. It's as if this DLC were made just for me! I can't wait to use Dawnbreaker on these vile undead monsters. And a crossbow, like a proper Slayer. Vampires of the world beware! Buffy is coming, and death is her gift!

Well I am only a human, sub-par intelligence and all. But once I am a Vampire Lord your feeble minds won't comprehend the knowledge!

Hmm, not sure why but personally i am not worried. Let your arrogant vampire ilk come forth, they will be burned by the sun and cast into the void for all eternity!

Side note, I wonder if the Dawnguard will get some sort special powers or something to use against the vamps and other creatures like a turn undead spell of sorts. Who knows, maybe a new shot? One can hope

I like the idea of them just being ordinary people more, personally. Though, it could be cool if they had some sort of unique ability. Hmmm

We will wipe the vampires from skyrim...!!!

Fenrat, my Vampire Hunter, is already on the hunt. So far he has hunted and elimnated one group of Vampires. It does not sound like much but Fenrat was once a theif. A few days ago (In-game) he was robing a house only to see the victim he was robbing, become the victim of vampirism. He killed the vampire. Since that day he has put down his theiving, and is now using his skills to defend Skyrim from the Vampires. He has heard distant rumors of a clan of Vampire Hunters call the Dawnguards, but has yet made contact. Until then he remains a private Vampire Hunter, contracted by Jarls and others to rid Skyrim of Vampires.

Just recently he uncovered a Vampire plot to overthrow Morthal, those vampires are now dead.

Sure. Why not.

I wanna gut some vamps. But that doesn't mean I won't become a badass vampire lord on my wizard.

I would find it to be a fun surprise if dawnguard turned out to be an organization of werewolves, sure it would not be the worlds most mind exploding thing but it would be pleasing the werewolf and vampire sides at once at least. even if no werewolf additions in this, Im bringing my vampire killing gear.

This would piss me off. Its bad enough that the games equivalent of the fighters guild is filled with werewolves, but this too. It they were werewolves, it would annoy the hell out of me.

To be fair, the companions only have 5 werewolves and in the end if you take a certain path in other quests there would be only 1 werewolf in the entire game so really no faction or place is "full of werewolves". So why should this dlc contain a real vampire faction and leave werewolves with a semi faction of their own?

Same here, I'd consider not buying it at all if that were the case. Forcing warrior characters to become werewolves to do more than the first few companion quests was awful, I've only joined with 1 character for this reason even though almost all my characters would join the Fighters Guild in Oblivion. They should've been separate guilds.

And that werewolf v. vampire crap is so overdone, no thanks.
