Realized why I'm getting bored with FO:NV : Fallout: New Vegas

Before I lost my save due to me being stupid and overwriting it with a different save, I was at 40 hours of gameplay and I pretty much did everything that you could do in New Vegas.

150 hours is nothing I've done 180 hours in Oblivion on my 1 file.

40 Hours? Thats nothing! You probably missed like half the quests and locations.

I must have 90-100 hours in the game, I can't beat this game because of a bug though.. SO I MUST REPLAY THE STORY! :hubbahubba:

In Fallout 3, I had 300 hours on my first character. I made loads of others, and that was before I got fallout 3 on pc, so now I play it with mods.
For some reason New Vegas doesn't seem that compelling to play.

oblivion has me close to 1000.. and I recently made a new character.

bethesda makes the best games today. end of.

I noticed the other day that I was well over 300 hours - hardly notice the count on Steam, since I don't actually go there to launch the game...

Those hours broken down between... umm... three characters who finished the main quest, about 50 levels worth of other characters that I played for a while before abandoning, and the level 15 character I'm playing now.

...and still only barely scratching the surface of what I'd like to do with the game with mods. It is a really good thing my girlfriend plays FNV too - otherwise I'd be single for sure.

Ive put a lot of hours into FNV myself but now im taking a break. I doubt ill end up putting the same amount of hours into FNV as I have some multiplayer games.

I replay every game I buy over and over. Chances are I've spent that amount of time on every game I have but currently my enjoyment of Fallout: New Vegas hasn't made it past the 120 hour mark (it's hunting season in Oklahoma and I need a doe!)

Guess I'm pretty pathetic, only 110 hours. But I do play as much as I can. This Wisconsin hunter could use a doe as well. :gun:

I already have my buck back from the processor from muzzle loading season... Mmmm deer jerky...

Well, I do have some venison in the freezer... the city I live in is employing a couple of archers to thin the city herd, and residents that sign up get the carcass delivered to their house. They just showed up a couple weeks ago at ten at night. I was like, "Honey? Did you order delivery?" It was kind of a pain becuse I had to stop playing New Vegas and go skin it out :sadvaultboy:

Oh, and currently 30 hours on second playthrough. Still screwing around in Novac area. :foodndrink:

i put 161 hours into my first fallout new vegas game im on my second play through and its about i think 55 hours but my record is Fallout3 256 hours and The elder scrolls oblivion 231 hours [obsidian = injustice]

I'm not trying to be a jerk, but how can you go to school AND have a full-time job? O_O

156 for me, still not even the slightest bit bored. I'd have racked up way more hours if the damn game didn't come out a few days before the start of university exams. I had a hell of a lot of trouble remembering that Fallout can wait, but exams can't.
That, and the boyfriend has practically forbidden me from playing it for more than a few hours a day. Sigh.

So I finally hit the point today where I loaded up the game and nothing really seemed to excite me, and I was like "crap, I'm bored" so I closed the game.

Then I saw my hours played on Steam.

150 hours is about what it took for me to get bored for the first time.

I can't even REMEMBER a game that kept me entertained that long. When I was 16 I spent an entire summer playing Final Fantasy 7, 80 hours or so of gameplay, and I thought that was a ton. I loved Mass Effect 2, played it through 4 times... 72 hours played (Steam kept track as well).

But holy mother of fallout, 150 hours of gameplay?

Then I realized I'd never done the Deathclaw Promontory and was no longer bored...

That's nothing, my first playthrough of fallout 3 ended up being 400 hours of gameplay, new vegas hasn't given me more than 70 hours of gameplay, of course that's with one playthrough and since it's worth it to go back and do other factions I'm up to about 350+ hours of gameplay on new vegas.

136 hours, still a long way to go to catch up to Fallout 2 and I doubt that it'll ever catch up to the game that I've played the most, Heroes of Might and Magic 3.

My only problem with the game is IT'S SO HARD TO STAY IN ONE PLAYTHROUGH!!! I have no idea what it is with me, but as soon as I start a whole new game the next day, literally, I just set my mind to starting the whole thing over without being even halfway done with the story and exploring only about .5% of the entire game, maybe even less!!

Yet, it is amazing that even after all the new saves, it continues to impress.

There's a program like that here that allows hunters to donate deer meat to needy families. It depends on how much we manage to take in, but we might end up donating some. So I still have some work to do.

Unfortunately, since my sister started playing Fallout: New Vegas while she's visiting, I haven't had time to play it myself :shakehead: I miss the days that it was only me and my Xbox.

I do applaud you got getting through FF7 in less that 100, took me 175 my first time, courtesy of mono and no school for 3 weeks.

i finished ff7 while sick with mono too. it was the 8th grade and i was out for four weeks.

but i had been chipping away at it for like two years.

i ended up just farming tomberrys in the final areas untill all my characters were leveled into the 80s
