Really!?! Why all the hate, dont get it

FTR "milk-drinker" refers to an infant svckling at its mothers teat, ie a helpless baby. Nord humour! Yes, they're basically all alcoholics.

This is true. However, I like to pretend on Alea once in a while and she seems to like the attention.... wink, wink, nudge, nudge....

Milk is disgusting. I stopped drinking it as a teenager when I realized it's cow tit bodily fluid. Even cows stop drinking it after they're babies. If you saw an advlt cow drinking milk you'd think it was mentally challenged.
What do you eat for breakfast then. Toast?

Plus, flavorings in your food are actually crushed insects.

True Nords drink Mead (and other Alcoholic beverages). Milk Drinkers are wimps :)

And if you think about were it comes from, Milk is kind of disgusting. Particularly in a land like Skyrim which has likely not discovered Pasteurization, and so Milk in Skyrim is likely invested with vermin.

That's one reason in the real world middle ages, beverages with some alcohol in them were prevalent -- the alcohol kills bacteria in the beverage.

Whut? I didn't think cereals were the only things you can eat at breakfast. You know, stuff like bread also exists, toasted or not (preferably not). And hey, some people eat salads or even warm food.

And if you think about were it comes from, Milk is kind of disgusting.
Aww, milk is tasty you know. I just don't drink it anymore because our body doesn't really need it (the "it's good for your bones" argument is heavily under discussion, only the milk selling companies support it). Too nutritious while we barely do any hard labour anymore. And people wonder why diabetes is getting more and more common ...

Plus, flavorings in your food are actually crushed insects.
Insects are tasty. Too bad the market didn't really open up to it yet, there's a big opportunity there!

 You, my friend, get a cookie. :cookie:

You're one of those "Milk is the greatest thing ever types", aren't you? Taking advantage of the fact that I don't have the best Cookie-compatible mods for Water installed in my fridge right now, trying to get me to give Milk a little attention. I know your tricks!

And it worked. :thanks:

Well, the idea of drinking milk is a tad disturbing, no? Almost parasitic.

So is pregnancy, in a much more realistic way. :P

Correction: Pregnancy is within the same species (at least I would hope), Humans drinking the milk of cattle is not.

Thus pregnancy is not parasitic.

I'd sure like to know where all these "milk drinkers" in Skyrim are getting their supply, all I ever find are ale, mead, and wine.

Seriously, there isn't even WATER to drink in Skyrim.

Exactly. What's the point in being a milk-drinker if you don't even have milk around? Guess I'll just stick to ectoplasm.

No game can satisfy everyone. Those who aren't satisfied tend to be vocal about it. They have a right to be, I feel, since they have paid money for the product.

For the record, I am satified. I love Skyrim.

I think I have seen this exact same post on the ME3 boards at least 20 times today.

As far as drinking milk, I do prefer the original natural delivery system. Though I have outgrown the need for my mothers milk, I often revert back with the wife on a regular basis.

Yeah, you got me. ;)

Not to say that I didn't thouroughly enjoy Water. I think Water had a lot more versatility. I was disappointed to see that Mother Nature had removed the "Car Wash" and "Swimming Pool" mechanics from Milk. The second one especially gave Water a great sense of "immersion." And Water supported a number of really great official plug-ins, like Fish and Islands, as well as some third party plug-ins like Boats.
Sure, Milk has been really dumbed-down a lot, but to me, non-modded Milk just seems to have more flavor and panache than Water right out of the tap. I will always be a Water fan, but that doesn't mean we have to hate on Milk. It is was it is: an attempt to springboard off of Water's popularity.

Okay, I'll stop now before I get ridiculous. :P

It is a site advocating drinking unprocessed milk. I guess some people are just opposed to getting through the day without visiting the washroom 20 times a day.

been drinking raw (unprocessed) milk for about 3 years now. i've not experienced what you are describing. could it be that you aren't familiar with what you are commenting on?
