It is annoying, but it happens. I guess in the future if you want to avoid bugs, don't buy the game right when it comes out. Wait a month or two.

These never go well and I'm pretty sure are against the rules. Not for sure but I'm guessing locked soon.

It is more than annoying and i have bought games on the release date but none of them have been as badly glitched as this game. I enjoyed the Fallout 3 but it has bot been fixed as it is still as glitched as it was when it was released despite a few bugs and glitches fixed here and there.
i understand if people think im unreasonable but i can't help but feel i spend more time saving and restarting than i do actually playing the game :banghead:

Look, I know that as a PS3 owner, it's frustrating when a game you bought crashes. But all the enjoyment I've gotten out of the game far outweigh the pain of having to restart my PS3 every once in a while.

I'm just waiting for patches, and in the future, will wait a bit to see if a buggy game gets fixed by patches or not. Either way, I'm not particularly upset with my purchase.

Yeah, I think all you can do now is take it as a lesson learned: read the reviews before you make the purchase.

Well, I remember in my early days of PC's (mid 90's) when you'd have to rewrite boot up files and clear up UMB and XMB caches just to get games to play. Nevermind all the upgrading every year so you could play the newest games. So a few crashes and having to save and play a little less per session is not that big a deal to me. Sorry.

You're not going to get a refund. If you want one sell your game on ebay, thats about as close as you're going to get to the amount you paid for the game.

i acctually did read the reviews but i just assumed they were overreacting... apparently not

Nope - a good bet is to read a lot of them, and if they all point out the same gripe, then it probably is a real issue. All I'll say is it is a good game, and the fact that many reviews will still score quite high despite mentioning the bugs/glitches shows that F:NV does have merit.

I wasn't actually asking for a refund i was just trying to get my point across sorry if i tugged on really devoted fan heartstrings.

I think at the very least Bethesda should give us a public apology and some sort of compensation.
It's bad enough the game is unplayable but there's an announcement of a DLC? Why should we pay another 10 dollars when we've already bought the game at max price?
At this point I think I'd easily join a class action law suit because the incompetency and greed of pushing this game out before being playably complete is far beyond acceptable levels.
If Bethesda doesn't like the fact that we have to bring in the law because of what they've done with this game, they should have known better in the first place.
It's not acceptable in any way, no matter what any fan boy might say.

The game itself is my favorite in years. Buggy? Yes. I've personally only seen 3 crashes in 65 hours of playing (yes, really), but I've had quite a few companion/follower bugs (holy jeebus are the companions buggy) and a couple of quest bugs. I've also got the reloading bug for round-at-a-time reload weapons as of the last patch, but I'm working around it with a mod for the time being.

I LOVE the game to death, but Bethesda/Zenimax should have pushed back the release date to allow for completion of the QA process.

Sorry if I was mislead by the title..."refund please" and the same general complaints that we've been experiencing for weeks in your thread. Sorry I liked the game, if you hated it so bad get rid of it or wait for a patch. There's nothing else you can do.

Oh and also the part where you said, "This is simply unacceptable I wish for a full refund." might have led me to believe thats what you wanted. :rolleyes:

Or in my case, back to the old tried-and-true: Don't buy anything with Bethesda's name on it unless it's also labeled "Gold Edition/GotY Edition." Served me well for years, then I broke the rule with New Vegas. Regretting it? Well, not fully but...quite a bit. Never again? absolutely.

The title refund please was sarcastic (bad idea on internet) and everthing i wrote about refunds is the result of fan boys like you giving me nightmares keeping me up at night

I could never have the resolve to wait that long! I'll take any bugs or glitches (lots of them, but no crashes after approx. 100 hours of gaming - touch wood!) if they keep bringing out games which are fantastic games in all the other aspects. But I do see your point. Lots of people are saying it's best to do it this way if you've got the patience, plus it works out cheaper as you aren't paying for every individual DLC.

Fallout Vegas in my opinion will stay bugged as long as people pay for add ons and other content that seem to be coming before the game is even fixed. I love everything about the game except for the bugs. The fault of the bugs is the company that produced the product, but the major flaw is the fact that everyone rushed out en masse after reading reviews of how buggy the game was and bought it just to get their fix. Some people do take pride in what they do but other people might look at the sales numbers and wonder why they would need to throw money and manpower at a product that is obviously bringing in money. If consumers are willing to overpay, they will overpay. If consumers are willing to buy broken products then broken products will continue to be sold. If you know the product is broken before you buy it you have no one to blame but yourself. Sure I get irritated at the bugs but at least I didn't underestimate the amount of bugs after reading the review. I am hoping they fix it all soon but all I have to do to voice my opinion on how soon I want it fixed is to just stay with the base game that I bought and not buy future games if things aren't fixed.

Yeah about that refund... I really doubt that's going to happen. Sounds like buyer's remorse more than anything. If you read the reviews and bought the game anyway, that's just asking for it. The truth is though, the game is in fact buggy. However, it's not any more buggy than any other game I've played with the engine they used so I don't see it as a major problem.

Oh and by the way. That quote from Dave Serrano. I think that comparing the game's reviews to the status of WWII being a war or conflict is a bit of an exaggeration.

Edit: That post above. I just have to say, wow. I thought conspiracy theories were reserved for crackpots talking about government agencies.

I love what few game time i get out of this game but it's simply unplayable and Bethesda have crossed the line.

I never cease to be shocked when I read things like this. I bought my 360 version at the midnight release. I doubt my game has frozen 5 times in the near month I've had it. I've had very little problems of any kind.

Feel bad for some of you when I read these posts.
