Didn't, was either or. ianpatt said that he's been in contact with the author of the 4GB enabler mod and they will try come up with something when they have time to do so. Hopefully in a not too distant future because, at least for me, FONV is not very fun to play atm with all this microstutter all over the place.

I've reverted to an old backup of FalloutNV.exe for now, and my fps is back up to where it should be, both d3d9.dll and 4GB /stutter fix work fine. I hope either Beth fixes this (like they should) or some nice mod maker makes new versions of the fixes that work with the new patch.

Psychophat's recently released "http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=38644" patcher successfully enables the Large Address Aware flag in the v1.2.0.314 EXE and is NVSE + Steam compatible. Big props to him.

you can do this yourself actually. simply download http://www.softpedia.com/get/Programming/SDK-DDK/CFF-Explorer.shtml, open it by rightclicking on NV exe, then click on File Header (to your left), then on Click Here (to your right) and check "App can handle >2gb addressest". close and overwrite. don't forget to back up the original exe in case your pc transforms into megatron and starts shooting lasers at your cat.

Does that not alter the checksum and cause Steam to refuse to start the game?
