Restless Leg Syndrome (am I the only one?)

Post » Thu May 03, 2012 10:48 pm

Is that what it's called? I get it quite frequently. Often when I'm trying to go asleep. If I'm not experiencing it, and it suddenly enters my mind, then it hits me pretty much straight away.

It svcks. I've had quite a few sleepless nights because of it. Even reading this thread, I can feel it kicking in... :(

I don't know if it's RLS or a side affect of my hyperactivity, but my legs always have to be moving. Not really because it's uncomfortable to not be moving, but because they just have too much energy.

I often have feet/ankles that seem to want to jiggle and jitter non-stop while watching TV, but I don't have RLS.
It's strange...never figured out what the difference was. I can sit in front of the PC and my legs/feet rarely do the constant-jitter - once in a while, but not often. Sit in front of the TV...and there they go. And I'm even in more comfy chair or lying down while watching TV, vs. a pc deskchair. Must be a mental engagement thing.
