Back on topic. I am rather curious as to whether or not the Snow Elves may actually reappear, as I swear I read somewhere about their being new races coming to the next game. Snow Elves would make logical sense with the new details added with this DLC.

New races? Whaaaaa? I guess Beth realizes some people (Not including me) are getting bored with the same races. :/

Also, after obtaining Auriel's Bow, Gelebor just waits there at the big old temple. Maybe he is waiting there for others.

New races would be nice, but then wouldn't there be too many? I mean, there is already 10!

So, what do you think the chances are for Snow Elves? I mean, Bethesda are making more DLC for Skyrim, right?

They'd be pretty interesting as well to see how they interact with the human races. Perhaps they'd join the Aldmeri Dominion?

If there is a Thalmor "Second Great War" DLC, and the Snow Elves are joining up with the Thalmor, I'm on their side. I've always hated the Thalmor but this is the only reason that would get me to support them. "Skyrim belongs to the Nords". Yeah right, after you all slaughtered the Snow Elves.

Seeing as how alike the Snow Elves are to the Altmer I'd say it's entirely possible. The Bosmer are much more 'barbaric' and yet the Altmer Thalmor view them as their Elven brethren. I don't mean 'barbaric' in a derogatory sense, I love the Bosmer. They're just much more physical than the Altmer. Less focused on magic and more focused on nature. The Snow Elves are much closer to the Altmer in that regard. They are capable of some magic at least on par with the Altmer. If the Thalmor would want an alliance with anyone in Skyrim it would be the Snow Elves, not the Empire. It's also probably the only way for the Snow Elves to regain a foothold in Skyrim.

Spoiler section;

Use it.
Spoilers, bro.

I already knew about this, but I feel as if a lot of the guys who have not played Dawnguard yet are going to be steamed about you spoiling it.
There is a DAWNGUARD SPOILER SECTION. Use it.
I love how there are always at least three posts saying the exact same thing when someone has made a mistake. Good way to rack up your postcount without adding anything to the conversation. :smile:

Yes, but didn't he say something about the Falmer becoming more intelligent? Plus, surely if the Falmer ingested toxins to make themselves blind then when they reproduced their offspring would still have sight? I mean, an amputee can still have children with limbs, no? I mean, the Dwemer have even been dead for ages now.
It depends on the nature of the toxin. If it was engineered to disrupt the Snow Elves' genetics then the blindness could very well be hereditary. It could also just be a byproduct of living in pitch dark caves for centuries, kind of like a mole.

Based on what the one you meet says about there possibly being more then its quite probable than in ether new DLC or a future game the Snow elfs will return in some way. For the time being I have a nice set of snow elf amour on display in my Markarth home.

I think it would be interesting to add a few new races to the next elderscrolls installment. I thought the Snow Elf Archatecture was much more awe-inspiring than the Dwemer's, heres hoping for more snow elf ruins to explore.

I thoroughly Enjoyed traveling to the secret vale in that little corner of High Rock. The ENTIRE place was beautifuly designed.
