Exactly, Undecaf! Like you find out the details about your "killer", where he lives and all that. You go to pay him a visit, you sneak into his house and you find him crying on the floor with his daughter, trying to explain to her why her mother won't come home anymore, that he did very bad things to afford her treatment but all in vein. So, do you revenge?

The way i see it i'd still kill him but it'd be more for mercy than revenge. Obviously he's not too happy so i'd put him out of his misery...probably have to plug the kid too so she didn't grow up to be an orphan.

But my idea to kill the guy who shot you would be (although there is a 99.999% chance you waon't be able to do this in the game it's what i'd do in real life) to get the 2 bullets pulled out of my head, melt them down into a new bullet and hang on to it til i can find him and "return" the bullets. Oh man that would be so badass. I love myself.

Place mines around him so if he leaves this circle, he dies. If he has a family, kill the wife the same way in front of him. Take the childeren for my own.

I'm not going to kill him, because that's what he wants. Instead I'm going to make him a "Highlander" by throwing him off a cliff and he will be roaming the earth forever in search of a way to die, but he can't because he's immortal...

A little late yes but shouldn't the title for the thread be "Revenge is a dish best served cold"?

And well it depends on how the character is, why he did it, how is personality is, and how his karma alignment stands.
After reviewing his character I will either like him too much to kill him or I'll grab my plasma fist and turn his ass to goo.

Okay, maybe that's too far, but I felt like making a reference to that great news report. But still, I'm going to kill him more gruesomely than what I did to Tobar for taking part of my brain (I took an Autoaxe to the b*****d, then proceeded to mutilate his body after he died). I'll decide based on what selection of weapons I have on me when I come across him, the environment, his reaction, his purpose for shooting me, and other variables.

I hope it isn't as plain as "You find a merc that looks at you, asks how come you're alive, starts grinning like a dog and combat is ensued". Rather than that, there could be some sort of moral dilemma. Like the shooter has been forced to get the package and shoot the courier to save his family and has been forced doing so to cover a debt or something to "whoever" for some time already, but he is also a murderer who shot you and some other people too and his death would result in some happy faces around the nearby villages. To kill a murderer and make his wife a widow and leave her and her son to survive alone in this dangerous world, or to understand his situation and cover up for him. For example.

Other than that, I would nail him to a bench and slowly rip him apart.

E - Didn't read Savages post, seems he had something similiar in mind. Oh, well...

Ehhhhh, it depends. I'd be upset at being shot in the head. But in general. If its some sort of situation like UnDeCaf said, I'd likely not shoot him. I dont like simple revenge plotlines. Kind of like GTA4 with the near end plot piece with his old squadmate, I liked that storyline bit.

Personally i'm bisixual. I don't think I would have much of a problem with that. :foodndrink:

Unless he's a baby eating rapist monster I dunno if i'll want to kill him. He might end up being an okay guy... that occasionally shoots people in the head? :shrug:

I'd find him. Tie him up. Beat him with a pipe until he told me why. Drag his soon to be orphaned kid into the room. Make him repeat it all. Put his gun in the kid's hand. And walk out the door. If I don't hear gunshots in two minutes.........I walk back in and shoot them both.

Caveat, kiddies. If the kid offs himself, I just leave the guy tied up and go about my merry way.

Second option.

Guy is a real scumbag and just did it for some caps and my stuff.

Ghoulification sounds fun. Yeah, expose him to ungodly amounts of radiation until he becomes a ghoul.........you know, like Moira Brown after I nuked Megaton.........

i would go through all the trouble of hunting him down, only for a end of the game plot twist, that the courier is a schizophrenic who hallucinated that he shot himself, dug a hole, and buried himself thinking it was someone else. then he would realize that it was all a videogame.
