I''m scared to play FONV

Funny, I've heard nothing but praise and side-mention of bugginess. Every review I've seen has been between 8/10 and 10/10

Same thing here. The people I've seen saying only negative things about the game are in the far minority.

Listen to the only opinion thats going to matter on this issue at the end of the day: your own.

Pick up the controller and give it a shot.

As for me? It's everything I was hoping for. hardcoe mode makes for some amusing life and death situations and battle complications compared to how unbalanced the previous game felt at times. It just feels right. This is the way FO3 should have played.

Look at it this way - you're going think it's all complaints because the THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS of people who are enjoying it are still totally immersed and probably won't pop up on here singing it's praises for a while yet :)

Listen to this person! It's a very good point. I love the game, I'm just on here because I'm taking a break!

It IS 2000% better than FO3. But the glitches are effin ridiculous at this point. I have an entirely unusable gun (my weathered 10mm pistol)

A lot of haters purposely post on forums of new games. But they all go away after a while.

Well I say don't listen to anyone play the game and judge for yourself.

Well I got mine at the midnight release. Granted it starts a lil slower then 3. I haven't played anything else.

I don't have much time into the game but it's ok so far, I say just go ahead and open it and play the thing ASAP.

Most reported bugs are on PC. I haven't had ANY issues at all and I'm on console. I think your safe as far as that goes.

Honestly I think the game is awesome.

I feel sorry for the PC guys though and hope they put a patch out for them soon.

I have the game for PC and it runs just fine. No framerate issues, no major bugs, no glitches, no crashes. It runs silky smooth and i really enjoy playing it so far, probably even more than i dit fallout 3.

People are overreacting.Bugs are common for a game like this on release so anyone who expected it to be flawless is foolish. Game wise its better than Fo3 and most complaints seem like people who can get passed the same engine being used.

Your very, very wrong. The fact that they used the "same engine", and since most of these glitches have appeared on THREE of their games so far, you would think they were fixed by now. No excuses.

I still wonder which game breaking bugs everybody talks about. Still haven't seen any.

Same here.

I played two different versions of FO3 and so far it's running smoother than both of them.

I haven't experienced any bugs at all. Once my game froze, but I just went to task manager, shut off the game, restarted, and everything was fine. (I've played abour 9 hours, by the way) You'll enjoy the game, believe us.

It's a great game and the best Fallout game so far, in my opinion. It has excellent RPG mechanics, a larger variety of items from what I've seen, and caravan is an addicting little card game. The game is a little less urban than Fallout 3 and isn't quite as good for exploration, in my opinion, but it is still a great game and a very nice effort for Obsidian's first sandbox RPG. Most of the mechanics from Fallout 3 have been polished and improved, in my opinion, the game has a cool, less depressing, although still quite varied, atmosphere, the writing, dialogue choices, and story are very well done with some nice choices based on character skill and/or player opinion, and, coming from a fellow PS3 player, the game runs nearly flawlessly, excluding the to be expected, occasional framerate hiccup. I had one forceful return to the PS menu earlier, but that's about it. Other than that, the game doesn't crash or freeze for me and I think Obsidian did an excellent job. Play the game, don't worry, and enjoy. It's a good game, and people will always whine. The following may not completely apply to you, but did you enjoy Morrowind? People whined at release. Did you enjoy Oblivion? People whined at release. Did you enjoy Fallout 3? People whined at release. It happens with many games, yet if you didn't deeply enjoy at least one of those RPGs I mentioned, you probably wouldn't be here. Ignore all the screaming and shouting and enjoy this magnificent game, which I hope will be followed by many more, both Bethesda-made and Obsidian-made.

I'm playing on the PC. I've played about 6 hours so far ... and I love it. I haven't had any of the bugs people are reporting and the game is great.

I'm throughly enjoying the game thus far. Only about 8 hours in.
I really liked Fallout 3 and I so far I like this one more. It feels like a modded version of Fallout 3 and thats not a bad thing.

Ive hit a few bugs, but they seem like similar ones I hit when Fallout 3 came out (which makes me wonder why they are still here however). However nothing game breaking yet.

My opinion play it. If you don't like it and want to sell it or trade it in, the sooner you do it the better. But if you liked Fallout 3 you will most likely like this game.
