Serious Request for 360 players

Post » Fri Jun 22, 2012 3:23 pm

When Dawnguard does come out for you guys, I ask from the bottom of our hearts as PC players (and I guess PS3 players ), PLEASE be careful about what you post in the General Discussion forums regarding spoilers. You get it 30 days earlier than everyone else, at least be respectful of everyone else who doesn't get to experience it. Thanksya.

Well, I for one will only discuss dawnguard in the cheats hints and spoilers subforum until the rest of you have it. The only exception would be to make a blanket statement such as 'it's really good' or 'im let down'.

I personally dont post much so you have no worries from me, but there will always be people who like to do that kind of thing, and ruin it for others. So I recommend you just avoid the forum as much as possible if you are that concerned.

Kinda bad advice, but its really the only way.

I won't be spoiling anything, though you might want to just avoid the forums and youtube for 30 days to just to be safe.

Its going to be an out and out s-storm.
My suggestion it to either abandon the forums completely until you have it or have played it through, or be VERY careful in what you click on.

Tbh your better off just avoiding the forums. I won't spoil anything. But sometimes people get excited and don't think about things before they post, and they might let a spoiler slip.

Also, yes. To clarify I'm not big on the spoilers. So you'll hear none from me.

I will not be on the General Discussion OR any other part of the forum after next Tuesday, because I don't want early spoilers from try-hard kids who "beat" the DLC story and post complaints about it.

So even on 360, I'm avoiding anything until I take my sweet time to roll through the DLC myself.

Advice for PC and PS3 guys and gals: Even the mods here, those valiant Vigilants of Internetz, can't stop people from posting spoilerific titles, giveaways, and details completely. AVOID the forum unless you absolutely must visit the General Discussion for some reason. Unless you like spoiler details and info because you're drooling over anything about Dawnguard.....

I'm sorry to be the one that says this, but people are going to post spoilers. They always do, and they'll probably go as far as to put them in the thread titles. You've been here a while, you must remember what it was like when Skyrim, or any of the other new Bethesda games have been released?

If i were you, i'd just take a few weeks off the forums untill the hype has died down. The mods will try and stop it, but sometimes they just lock the threads rather than deleting them so it doesnt actually help atall.

I could be wrong, but I would think Dawnguard would have it's own board, especially under the circumstances.

This. In any case, I've never been a spoiler kinda guy, I think it's really messed up.

Anyways, I can't wait for the DLC to come out, I'm really excited to see what the general public has to say about it all. Only 9 more days (hopefully) and I can finally stop holding in all these secrets. :D

Plus, I'll be around to help anybody having trouble with any of the quests. :)
