A thief tried to rob me on a hill near Darkwater Crossing. I decapitated him and his head rolled all the way down the hill and stopped in front of the little girl by the fire.
I love when the Vigilent of Stendarr say: "Walk always in the light, or we will drag you to it."
I had decapitated an Orc who was apparently a "look-out" outside of a bandit infested cave. His headless body laid next to the cave entrance as I went in...wasn't sure where the head ended up.
So, I took care of business in the cave and came back out. The Orc's body was still laying there but his head was sitting upright on the stool next to the fire where the Orc had been sitting when I attacked. Creepy.
Also, the Vigilants of Stendarr...grr. I was being attacked by a dragon near Markarth, but wasn't close enough to the city for the guards to help. My character is a Dunmer, so dragons who breathe fire aren't that tough, but she's an assassin/thief and struggles in fights with frost dragons, which this one was.
I couldn't get the dragon to follow me back towards Markarth where the guards would help out, so I ran the opposite way, trying to get him to follow me to some better cover. Well, I passed a Vigilant of Stendarr along the way who had apparently been fighting a fire atronach not long ago. I'm thinking "finally, some help...." Instead, the Vigilant ignored the dragon.
Unarmed townspeople will attack dragons with their fists, but this person dedicated to wiping out Daedra, undead, abominations, etc. wouldn't lift a finger to help me with a DRAGON.
