Heh. Well, the bottom line == lived over it! I'm with you though - the identity crisis situation could be a real issue. I guess.... you'd have to see if this particular reaction occurred again?

[And my Goddess - I'd never walk Markarth to Dawnstar even on my heavy armored tank-types.... much LESS on a squishy! Gold star for bravery, my girl!]

I was in the middle of a rather epic battle in the streets of Winterhold, and when the dust cleared, I noticed Arniel Gane, standing combat ready, with his trusty zombie chicken at his side. Apparently a chicken had died during the battle, and Arniel thought it would be a worthy addition to our team. Good job Arniel. Thanks for the help.

The first unscripted animal I saw in Skyrim was a mammoth. My first thought was "I wonder if I can kill it with my Imperial Sword?!" I ran up to it, tried to kill it and it launched me across the map with one hit. Since then I have not even shot an arrow at a mammoth.

Thought I was so cool ice-spiking a giant. I felt so incredibly epic and alive and then I heard a sound behind me...turned around and two angry mammoths looked at me with their beady, and filled fully with blood-lust, eyes. Having been maimed by just one I decided to leg it.
So I ran but quickly my stamina was all but spent, hey I'm an Altmer age not an athlete darn it. Thinking to have shaken off the furry battle-tanks I stood behind a rock waiting for my magicka and stamina to regenerate. Already had to use the Highborn power against the giant.

I ran away multiple times from mammoths and after a while they just give up. So big surprise when I stand there panting behind a huge rock and from both the left and right side comes a mammoth. All I could do was to grudgingly remember the days of the Recall spell and watch my poor mage get mauled(and flung miles high into the air).
My most embarrassing death was when I was fishing for salmon and side-stepped right off a waterfall :P "Dohvakiin dies in fishing accident. Skyrim lost to dragons."

I was in the alchemist shop in Solitude. The Alchemist told her niece to bring her some Mandrake Root. The niece asked what Mandrake Root looked like. The alchemist told her that it looked like an ugly little man. The niece said, "I think one of them tried to buy me a drink last night."

My stomach hurts from laughing. Good Lord, that's hilarious! :D

I'd just done the quest to get the knife I needed for the alteration ritual quest/helping the imperial officer. I'm thinking to myself "great... now i have to find a dragon to get the heartscale using this thing; Now where am i gonna find one of those easily?

Anyway, I get outside and catch him talking up a stormcloak soldier in a stormcloak uniform. He sees me, realises his charade is up and attacks me. The quest pops up "kill Cazptain Valmir" - no soon as the new objective pops up... this happens...

Fighting a dragon once, it flew off, pretty far away in fact, and it started tangling with some giants it had found. So I ran all the way down there, and when I got there, another dragon spawned-- so it was two dragons and a giant. As i was backing up-- the ground shaking from the giant and icy and fiery dragon breath all around-- the screen suddenly freezes, and I hear "Give me your money or I'll guy you like a fish!"

The best thing happened yesterday, though. I had just crossed a bridge and saw men approaching. It turned out to be Imperials leading a captured Stormcloack, in a line like: Imperial, Stormcloak, Imperial, Imperial. So I drew my Nord Hero Sword and attacked the first guy in the line. Clicked once, the fatality animation began and he got beheaded. I stepped by the stormcloack and attacked, clicked once, and ran him through, lifting him up into the air; took one step to the last guy, clicked once, and he got beheaded. I sheathed my sword, unbound the Stormcloack and kept walking. Seriously, it was perfect. You couldn't have scripted it smoother or better.

When I killed the old lady in charge of the orphanage the kids were happy! One kid said he loved the dark brotherhood and the girl said killing one person solves a lot of problems, think of the possibilities! Boy, did I laugh! :D

I want to recruit those kids for the DB. Can you imagine how loyal they'd be? Being rescued from that old hag and adopted by the Family?

I survived, but at this point I think I want to reload rather than deal with the identity crisis...

Did you protect or turn over the redguard woman in Whiterun? - I believe that is one of the quests that can result in the thalmor getting annoyed with you (Turning over their former spies to the authorities has that effect on people ;p)

I'm also not doing the main quest, so I haven't spent much time in Whiterun (not much point in being there without Breezehome). I don't think I've even been given that quest. I dunno for sure though; I have so many characters they kinda run together. I'll check that next time I play with this one.

Edit: I think it might have been the fact that I initiated conversation with the patrol. I did remember there's no good way to end that conversation, so I exited it early, but probably still tripped whatever flag they have. Gonna check on the Saadia thing still, though.

Edit the 2nd: Nope, In My Time of Need doesn't show up in my journal, either completed or not. According to the wiki you have to do Dragon Rising first, and since I'm not doing the main quest, I haven't.

I was on a horse and accidentally raced down a cliff with two large drops. On the first drop, my horse died. I ended up falling down the second drop while still in a seated position. Wish I had gotten a screenshot of that.

Shortly after clearing a Forsworn camp, a courier runs up to me and hands me a letter and some gold. Evidently, a Forsworn Forager was nice enough to include me in the will.

A thief tried to rob me on a hill near Darkwater Crossing. I decapitated him and his head rolled all the way down the hill and stopped in front of the little girl by the fire.

The last time I did this mission I walked into the building when the old hag was telling the kids she would beat them if they didn't do their chores and nobody was ever going to adopt them. I usually wield a warhammer but I didn't have it armed. I ran up to her when she was mid-sentence and was planning on punching her lights out. Instead my character palms her face and spikes her head off the ground like a football! I just stood their awestruck as the children cheered for me. There was an advlt woman that saw all of this and she ran like crazy around the room.

had some instances with patrols and prisoners. i'm playing a stormcloak sympathizer but havent started the Civil war questline yet so at the moment, i have to pretend to be neutral. but every once in a while i'd encounter these patrols with their prisoners and i take the opportunity to save a stormcloak whenever i can. (i play thief/assassin and i dont want to get any bounty)

so this one time, saw a patrol, ducked and hid until i can snipe them from a spot i can run and hide after. i missed on my first shot but it was enough for them to look for me. so i ran and hid until i'm hidden again. in a hurry to line up a shot again before they can go back to their trail (they walk fast and could disappear), i drew my bow, carefully but hastily lined up my crosshair and fired - right then and there, they moved and guess who i 1-shotted? the prisoner i was trying to save.... =(

reloaded a couple of times so i could get my desired result... XP

I love when the Vigilent of Stendarr say: "Walk always in the light, or we will drag you to it."

I had decapitated an Orc who was apparently a "look-out" outside of a bandit infested cave. His headless body laid next to the cave entrance as I went in...wasn't sure where the head ended up.

So, I took care of business in the cave and came back out. The Orc's body was still laying there but his head was sitting upright on the stool next to the fire where the Orc had been sitting when I attacked. Creepy.

Also, the Vigilants of Stendarr...grr. I was being attacked by a dragon near Markarth, but wasn't close enough to the city for the guards to help. My character is a Dunmer, so dragons who breathe fire aren't that tough, but she's an assassin/thief and struggles in fights with frost dragons, which this one was.

I couldn't get the dragon to follow me back towards Markarth where the guards would help out, so I ran the opposite way, trying to get him to follow me to some better cover. Well, I passed a Vigilant of Stendarr along the way who had apparently been fighting a fire atronach not long ago. I'm thinking "finally, some help...." Instead, the Vigilant ignored the dragon.

Unarmed townspeople will attack dragons with their fists, but this person dedicated to wiping out Daedra, undead, abominations, etc. wouldn't lift a finger to help me with a DRAGON.

Vigilants of Stendarr: You are now on my [censored] list.
