I disagree on this point. The hjammerdeim can kill unbuffed mediums in 2 shots, but takes 3-4 shots against unbuffed heavies. The delay between the first two shots and any subsequent shots puts the hjammerdeim at a significant disadvantage to SMGs, assault rifles, and machineguns when it isnt able to take the target out with the first two rounds. Any heavy with a chinzor or even a maximus should be able to wreck a medium before he even got close to dying.

If you're immediately double-firing, then the Hjammerdeim loses effectiveness when the delay hits.

If you pause for a moment between shots, the Hjammerdeim can wreck a team as fast as the MGs if you're in really close quarters. Only double-fire immediately when you're against a single opponent. Aim low with the first shot, and the second will usually go for the face. And the MGs can wreck Mediums and Lights when you're using them right as well - it's all about range and control.
