Should I get a new PS3 or convert to Xbox 360?

Eh, I comfortably use both of them on my PC. I use my PS1 controller (connected via USB adapter) for games that require d-pad precision, and my 360 controller for modern games (because they auto-detect a 360 controller).

I prefer the PlayStation controller though, since most of the games I play use the d-pad and the 360's d-pad is rubbish.

I've grown used to the Xbox's D-pad and can easily use it.
Its the location of the Dpad on PS controls that throws me off and the R2/L2 button just hang there or something and I don't like how they feel compared to RT/LT on xbox.

I said I couldn't, thats a bit of an exaggeration, really it just takes me a while to slip back into using one and by the time I'm used to it I'm back on Xbox.
I still have my original PlayStation in my room along with over 100 games :D

Edit: Said throughs instead of throws, need to read over before posting

Get a mid-level video card. Better and cheaper.

This!

I'm so used to having the thumbsticks where they are on the Xbox, going back to the Playstation controllers just feels archaic and primitive!

Which of the controllers do you like the most?

Choose the platform with the most comfortable controller for you.

PS3.

Load times on the 360 can get a bit frustrating.

Are you saying that the install times on the PS3 aren't? The longest update I have ever had to sit through on my 360 is about 20 seconds, I've heard of 10 minute install times on the PS3 not being uncommon.

I'd say that paying an extra $100 for 246 extra GB is worth it, but that's up to you. The PS3's D-pad is definitely better, but the 360's D-pad is pretty easy to get used to and the it's lain out much better for faster games like Gears of war, CoD and Split/Second.
