Sickly Skeletons ~~~by Porscha

Notice: You must have Automatic Variants installed to use the AV packages. Created by Leviathan1753, you may find it here: http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1355628-relwip-automatic-variants/

==Changelog==

1.5 - Re-uploaded AV packages to contain the correct folder paths, converted by the AV Package converter. Re-uploaded Calcined versions which are also included in the AV package with slightly modified texture and better normals, so they should appear the way they were meant to.

1.4 - Renamed AV Packages and directory path for future installments of my packages.

1.3 - AV packages of both 1024 & 2048 res added. To be used with Leviathan1753's Automatic Variants.

1.2 - I've re-uploaded the Calcined versions to match closer to how they're really meant to look. Re-download if you wish.

1.1 - I've added lightweight 1024 versions to their 2048 counterparts. Added an original Bloody 512 which is less red as some people prefer it.

==Description==
Skeleton retextures.

Bloody 512 and Bloody 512 Original (original, less red version) - Lightweight in file size. A bloody texture anyone can run.

Original 512 - http://img252.imageshack.us/img252/910/bloody5122.jpg , http://img9.imageshack.us/img9/204/bloody5126.jpg

Bloody 512 - http://img256.imageshack.us/img256/601/bloody512.jpg

Calcined 2048 - Rustified, calcination of the bones. Gritty.
http://img576.imageshack.us/img576/5482/calcined20482.jpg
http://img718.imageshack.us/img718/9961/calcined20489.jpg
http://img69.imageshack.us/img69/1996/calcined204813.jpg

Fleshy 2048 - Flesh-like skeleton. For those who prefer standard white skeletons, but with some flesh.
http://img535.imageshack.us/img535/3047/fleshy20483.jpg
http://img221.imageshack.us/img221/750/fleshy20484ye.jpg
http://img6.imageshack.us/img6/3733/fleshy20485.jpg

Sanguinary 2048 - Like Calcined, but more red and bloody like Bloody 512. Think 'dried blood'.
http://img651.imageshack.us/img651/4205/sanguinary2048.jpg

Bloody Fresh - Like Fleshy, but just bloody red and gross (favored).
http://img831.imageshack.us/img831/7373/bloodyfresh2048.jpg

I've also added 1024 versions of all the 2048 models.

==Installation==
Simply extract the contents of the .RAR into the directory where Skyrim is installed, or;
if using a mod manager such as NMM, just manually add the .RAR and activate.

==Uninstallation==
Quite easy.

Any chance you could make some Argonian, Orc, and Khajiit skeletons? Those would look much more intimidating imo. Your mod does add some flavor to the rather bland Vanilla skeletons though.

Calcined skeletons look amazing. And I never knew about that word prior to this mod, so thank you for the great retextures and increasing my general knowledge by a bit :)

That would require editing the skeleton mesh, or... editing the current Argonian, Orc, and Khajiit meshes and add them as standalone skeleton enemies. It is a good idea. I had already planned to make all of these skeletons varied and spawn at certain parts of the game. But your idea with the race's skeletons is a good one.

I was aware of what it required but was not sure if you knew how to make new meshes or not. Seems like you do and you like the idea! Great! Could you make static skeletons as well like the ones you find just laying around and would basically be the same thing just without animations so shouldn't be too much extra work. Maybe Hand place a few of them around the world. Would be interesting to see some long dead Argonians, Orc and Khajiit adventurers/bandits just laying around with possibly cool loot unique to their culture. That last bit would require an ass ton of work though so it is hardly realistic.

Sure. Is 1024 fine or you prefer 512?

I want to use the Bloody 512 sized, but the two pictures look completely different: http://img97.imageshack.us/img97/204/bloody5126.jpg and http://img688.imageshack.us/img688/601/bloody512.jpg IMO the first one looks the most realistic, other bloods are hella bright
I guess it could be the lighting is different or something

The first pic is from the first WIP tests I've done. I've made it more red since then which is represented in the 2nd pic. False advertising, I know. At least I know what people like :tongue:

I'll change it back to the first version and make lightweight versions of the rest soon. Thank you for the comments.

Cool can't wait to dl this. As for draugr, I thought that the darker draugr from morrowind were cool looking. The default skyrim draugr sometimes wear weird blue clothes..the women have beards sometimes too lol

UPDATE!

AV packages of both 1024 & 2048 res added. To be used with Leviathan1753's Automatic Variants. All types of 1024 & 2048 skeletons are in their own packages respectively, but both resolution packages come with Bloody 512 Original.

Thanks to Leviathan1753 (he must be immortal!) for an amazing tool!

Thank you.

1.4 update. Silly me. You aren't required to download it again, but the following steps will fix it.

DsoS brought up something that got my attention. Since I'm considering doing more AV Packages, it's probably better that the folder inside "AV Packages" isn't named Sickly Skeletons. It should look like:

...\AV Packages\Porscha's AV Package\Skeleton\(Bloody 512, Calcined 2048, etc)

instead of

...\AV Packages\Sickly Skeletons\Skeleton\(Bloody 512, Calcined 2048, etc)

Future packages will have the revised directory path. If you're considering that you might download more of my packages in the future, and if you wish, simply rename 'Sickly Skeletons' folder to 'Porscha's AV Package' to maintain all future variations that I've done in the same folder to keep track of it all.

@Porscha. Did install AV 1.2.1 today and installed your AV package. It look great !! Thanks for all your hard work. Are there plans for the (near) future to create more AV packages. That would be great as this one is looking great.
