Skooma is Fake : V

either its Fake or Beth forgot to code some drug effects onto it

they coded some kind of drug effect on the tree sap if you haven't eaten that pink bottle of fortify health 100 points do it its the REAL Skooma

why does the new drug have more druggy feel to it than the bottles of stamina labeled "Skooma" which lore says will mess with your mind and be illegal

True. Bethesda could've had skooma be the fortify stamina version of sleeping tree sap, but they should've added some negative effect to the drugs, such as an addiction, which could be treated like a disease where the penalties are offset temporarily by consumption of the drug. I don't think it'd be hard to program, they did it in the Shivering Isles expansion.

Yeah I was surprised by this as well. I was expecting it to have some type of negative effects, like drinking ale or mead.

Yes! Highly Disappointed that I can't consume every drug in town and then slaughter the people like livestock. In Morrowind I would turn Balmora into a drug infused hunting ground. People = Prey.

With all the bandits most shipments get jacked. Now the khajitts are cutting the product and mixing in non skooma items to stretch the supply. F****** bad economy and bandits.

I can see the Empire gaining the drug trade support from this. A stable Empire means more money in the pockets of citizens. Of course a druged out population means less work done which means less money in the pockets of citizens. Hmmmmm? I am not a financial planner. :nope:

The Vikings would sometimes eat a mushroom before battle the mushroom was part poison and part antidote. The poison part would send them in to a battle rage the antidote would stop it from killing them. Unless it contained to much poison and not enough antidote in which case it was curtains. All skooma does is boost your stamina a bit where are all the bad effects that it should have ?.

Skooma was great in Oblivion, gulping down four bottles of the stuff made you run stupidly fast, great for fleeing from a fight or when you were bored :biggrin:

I have the get drunk mod, I have not tried to see if skooma does the effect too... ha I remember the sap in shivering isles

If the empire embraced the skooma trade they would gain a few things. Less people in prison meaning less to feed/take care of. Buildings would rise for storage/sale meaning more rent/tax money from the buildings. Tax money from the actual sell of skooma. More jobs to manufacture/transport skooma. Over time less use of skooma, or at the least more responsible use. And a acceptance of the khajitts which would over time allow them to be honest working citizens in other fields.

Of course there would be cons, but take it as a necessary evil. Its not like ale and mead don't have cons.

Damn i miss buying forty bottles of skooma from shady sam, drinking them and moving at like 300 speed, one-hitting guards..... Ah the days. Of course my intelligence was so bad i could only cast one flare before i ran out of magicka...

Although the effects from the drugs aren't the same, this is like how all these people are buying acid that is some other synthesized formula and the're like oooh I feel something off four blotters, where if they were taking pure LSD they would be tripping off nanometers.

Haha Skooma is heavily cut and stepped on before it reaches Skyrim nowadays....

I wish I had tried this. I still own Oblivion but it no longer wants to run even after a complete reinstallation.
