skyrim is fine as it is

my main quest works, that makes my skyrim "fine"

your personal experince doesn't create a universal truth

You're wandering around the forums just to say the game is fine as it is. I find criticism more interesting to discuss personally than how it's fine and stop saying it's not. If you're just dismissing everything anyone says, why did you even make this thread?

it's fine dragon. nobody really takes him seriously. he's always ready to just reply with personal attacks instead of rebutt the criticism. he is an apologist of the highest.

don't expect to get a rational exchange of ideas from him.

Then why make a thread on a discussion board if you can't handle discussion?

because of this http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1354094-why-bethesda-why/

I'm sorry if I enjoyed Oblivion more. And your here just to state your love for Skyrim ?

Skyrim is fine, money was worth it, but to see how much it lacks content and improvement when you compare it to previous TES games...

Playing on the 360, 792 hrs total, and I haven't even done half the things I want to do. 9 characters in the xbox cloud and one on the hdd. Yep, fine by me too.

Ah, so this is why you so vehemently disagreed with the people who wanted to be able to create characters without going through the repetitive tutorial. You're a fan_boi (lol, fan boy is filtered!?) and nothing can be wrong with the game; anyone who disagrees with this must be argued around in circles until they give up.

gives that impression when you claim it to be "fine" and only base it on your own experince and create a thread about it but can't stand a duscussion about it.

don't sweat it.

many on this forum can't debate criticisms without resorting to: personal attacks, rose-colored, nostalgia and why complain if you've gotten so many hours out of it, arguments.

to be honest, i have been suprised at how quickly apologists get upset. many quickly put up their defenses and absolutely will not listen to sound ideas.

One's passion over a shared subject can sometimes be expressed as hostility towards another.

But I think Bethesda's devs are big boys and can gather the important feedback without being offended by the hostility it's sometimes wrapped in. (;

You're not doing a splendid job yourself there.

anyone with an ounce of rational thought can see that my post is spot-on.

in fact, half of it can't even be debated, since, the toggle idea is fullproof.

if you make an accusation like that, at least, have the balls to post what you disagree with and give me your counterpoint.

otherwise...

my point is that I like it, and besides all the downpoints you can came up with, it will still be the best game up to date, until some other better RPG comes out

Okay, let's try that.

"Skyrim's fine."
"Yeah"
"Yes."
"I agree"
"Yeah, not bad."
"Decent."
"Fine indeed."
"Excellent discussion."
"Good how we all agree exactly, wouldn't want some sort of actually interesting discussion."

To post what? The dude made a thread about how good the game is. You post one reasonable post and then you start bashing on the guy. It takes two to tango, Osheao.

it happens when you leave stuff out from previous games if you leave the wrong things out mad people will be pissed because the previous game is what they base their expectations off of

What I really like about Skyrim is that it has a grey tone to it. It feels like a lonely world and provides a very good setting. Also the new magic system is more to my liking. It just so easy to roleplay in this game that I can never get enough off it.
