Skyrim vs. Girlfriend/Boyfriend; a new perspective

I somewhat agree with you.

I haven't dated in months just because of Skyrim, I may sound shallow saying this, but when it comes to a girl I've known for 3 months, or a series I've been with for ten years, I will always choose TES.

Yeah me too about 3-4 months ago when I started getting hyped about Skyrim I made a concious decision to not go foward in life and to keep being a bum living with my parents doing nothing because of Skyrim

Because I knew if I had a job/GF when Skyrim hit .... that I would probably quit my job to have more time to play....... and then get dumped for GF negligence.... dead serious LOL

I get the feeling that some people who are this hyped for Skyrim are going to be some of the most bitter over-the-top flaming haters in a couple of weeks... Nothing could live up to these expectations!

I think we should write down a list of names of the most hyped board members, then check out their responses to the game a few days after release. It might make for some interesting reading.

First post with my new account. (Forgot the address to my Dark Knight one) Hilarious thread. Love the guy saying how he's not been without a girlfriend since 7th grade! Seriously!? You do realise that this proves you can't handle life by yourself? It's ok, certain people are too weak to live their own lives and need constant validation in the means of a constant cycle of relationships. I feel sorry for those people.

But yeah guys. Priorities. Don't sack off your significant other just because of a video game, but then again don't be whipped and bow to their every whim. I've never been massively in to relationships, but then again I am 19 and I am far too selfish to have to consider someone else constantly. Eh...
