When I was a bachelor it was great, always had tons of friends over to geek with. Now that I'm married its been even better, because my wife plays just as much as I do. And we love the same games.

The best part of being single is watching other people's relationships crash and burn, and knowing it was gonna happen all along.

Amen to that. The problem is that it is hard to find someone who can understand what us gamers go through, so you need a gamer 'significant other' to get both the satisfaction of a lot of gametime and someone to mack on (and as a bonus someone to nerd out with).

Yeah I agree. On YouTube there's a couple who are gamers and they're great people...at least they seem like it. Who knows how they are in real life.

Brb. Getting laid without having to work for it.

It's just six oh wait to measure the level of people's coolness you must get jiggy with it. Men these days........really testosterone is a horrible thing at times and seems like men have too much of it and it is getting to their heads. HA pun :P

I am amused by this thread.

I second this.

One guy says hes got mad swag cause he gets laid all the time, then turns around and pretends to be the good guy.

Indeed ... (Hmmm well I cant see a popcorn emote. Bethesda I am dissapointed with you.) :icecream: Its just not the same damnit.

LMFAO. One guy says he knows something about women when he has been getting with the 'easy' ones. Well maybe she had better reasons than you mentioned. I hope so. But you did not put a very good light on it lol.

Another person is trying to give sage advice that obviously is not wanted by the guy.

Here is a solution.

There isn't one. Individualistic needs cannot be comprehended with minimal info. Maybe he needs a need girl because he is needy himself. Especially the whole has not been single for more than 2 weeks since 7th grade part. That is just sad. You need time to be single. That is a necessity. It lets you have time to think and organize yourself and prioritize. You also need a significant other. That is almost a necessity as well.

Thats not healthy bro. Must svck when peoples relationships dont crash and burn and they are happy.
Oh and you could do that without being single.

Allthough I respect you for being honest.

I know that , I just hate how testosterone affects me. Just men thinking that having six is the pinnacle of cool and press that ideal on other people I find that funny and sad.

It is sad and pathetic. Specially when guys go out have six with random female partners then one of them having the baby and the same "DUDE" isn't man enought to fess up and take care of his own child. So yeah I see your point.

There's plenty wrong with society. :brokencomputer:

^

Seriously, because your single and immature you don't want a girlfriend who could potientially be more dominant than you telling you what to do
I hope I just got trolled good or the quote is all I have to say

Im a man, I dont give a [censored] about six at all. Hell I havent even had a GF (im 18), if anyone has a problem with that I just shrug.

Also I had a girl talk about sleeping around before and say "atleast im not a virgin." So its not a guy exclusive thing, its just stupid, insecure people. Which is ironic becuase I have low self esteem.

Next Friday I'll be locked in my room from 12:15-7:45am, then again from 11:15pm Friday-2pm Saturday. And my girlfriend doesn't mind. :)

Being that my girlfriend lives 60 miles away and I only see her at weekends, there's a pretty clear distinction between "me" time, and "us" time. I will not be skipping any weekends with her just to play computer games.

If you can't balance relationships and gaming, time to take a long look in the mirror.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that the OP hasn't been in a long term relationship.

I broke up with my boyfriend, dropped out of education and disowned myself from my family just so I could play Skyrim forever without any distractions. That's how great I think Skyrim will be. That's how far I'm willing to go for a game that I hardly know anything about.

I really wanted to put a link to the song 'You're the Inspiration' but realised it was a love song. That might set the wrong tone for the thread...

I know just how the girls feel in this situation. My hands are going to be spending all their time on this game, and none of it on me.
