Skyrim lacks comedy.

Post » Wed Jun 13, 2012 10:46 am

I know I know...it's in the middle of a war and dragons are coming back. But I have only encountered 1 or 2 funny things. One was hilarious! Cicero was with me and I was sneaking up to a bandit camp and all of the sudden he just starts dancing! I just bursted out laughing in my room. Anyways who agrees skyrim needs some more comedic moments? And feel free to share yours.

Only recent funny moment I had was with a 2H Orc in a Bandit cave. I was torching him with Flames and trying to keep a distance away from his Iron Warhammer. As he got close to death (and real close to me) he said "You wanna go? You wanna GO?!" Then died and said "Ohh..."

I about shot snot out of my nose when I heard it all combined.. NPCs be saying the dumbest crap sometimes. Especially before you're about to kill them, lol.

I do agree though, besides Cicero there's 0 comedic moments in this game. Unless it's some weird glitch/bug happening. (Which most times is bad..)

I want to try Cicero as a companion. Means I actually have to make my thief character.

He is hilarious. To this day he still says stuff I've never heard him say before

I miss funny easter eggs. I miss the dead troll easteregg in oblivion with the poorly written suicide note. Hilarious!

Sheogorath was supposed to be funny but the concept failed epically. Cicero has his moments though.

I have found many things in the game humorous, but I find a vast number of things comedic.

Several videos also 'modded' skyrim to be humorous.
Check out Skyrim and Oblivion gamer poop on youtube. There is even fallout, mass effect(no dragon age T.T) and resident evil and moarrrrr
i only encountered once or twice humourous things in the game.

I came across a burned down house out in the wilderness and inside was a crispy charred body. Beside the body was a scroll to conjure a Flame Atronach. That situation made me laugh.

TES isn't a bucket of laughs, it is a very serious universe. Well besides the occasional thing like the Adoring Fan, Curio and the like.

I like my TES serious with suddle jokes. Suddle jokes are a-ok. A rediculous world would be terrible. Sanguine and Sheogorath cheers me up when I'm done with my daily genecide.

Skyrim doesn't have much planned humor...but it's not too uncommon to encounter some accidental hilarity in a playthrough.

I used to find Skyrim serious like you.

But then I took an arrow to the knee.

Why do Khajiit lick their butts?

To get the taste of khajiiti cooking out of their mouth.

Do you mind? I'm tryin to do the fishstick,
Its a very delicate piece of mind.

Haven't seen your wife recently, is she well?
No, she is in the bed with laryngitis.
Oh is that argonian ****ard back in town?

Lusty Argonian maid.... 'nuff said.

The real Barenziah.... I'm not even gonna go there.

and last but not least.

A night to remember. :D

I believe skyrim is quite funny myself.

Did you play Shivering Isles? His NPC has the most character in the game.

Ah I see my little joke has crashed and burned... no matter. But no I never played Shivering Isles however, his weak humor in Skyirm did not impress.
