Skyrim New Game plus

Post » Fri Jun 15, 2012 9:01 pm

I think that there should ne a new game plus option where you start off a new game from your original character, at level one but there is a chest with your equipment. This way you'll be able to experience everything else with better equipment.

So you want everything handed to you at the start with no challenge?

I don't see that the experience would be any "better" - you'd basically just find it much easier.

There are certain games where this works, but not SKyrim.

I don't like the idea either, each game should be exactly that, a new game, a fresh start.

The biggest game-breaker is OP equipment...it may work on some games but on Skyrim its like starting again on god mode..

what if you wanted to do a mage with that character?...you cant tote that daedric armor around....im not even sure if you could tote it around as a level one fighter. ive never used it.

also, enemies level up with you. you would never have to level up.

I wouldn't mind a new game plus situation if it you started the game at the level you were on with the gear you had.

But that's only because I loathe the way enchanting is done in the game. I find it a chore to use and end up power levelling it if I have to use it, hell most of my mages DON'T even use enchanting it's the only thing I hate about the game. Let me disenchant things WITHOUT distorying them!

To those that say no, some parole believe it or not do enjoy playing skyrim for the story we don't all want to level up all the time.

That said new game + is well down on my priorities list I want to be able to pay to have my gear enchanted damn it! ( and as mentioned I want to be able to disenchant ideas without distorying them!

There'd be no challenge to the game anymore.. A bit of a silly idea.

Erm... it was an idea. Not a good idea, but not one that warrants telling people to "get out" for. A bit of politeness isn't hard, you know.

So my character will break 30+ quests because he already has the rewards from them all. Or should I get two of each for doing the quest twice?

How about money? I'd slowly accumulate millions.

What about that set of legendary-forged full-craft-abused alchemy-enchant-smith armour? Yeah, 'cause a level 1 really needs an Armour Rating of 500+ against iron daggers doing 3 damage.

Sorry, but no.

[sarcasm]Of course it warrants it. Anybody with a bad idea shouldn't be here. This place is only for people whose every idea is good.[/sarcasm]

Anwyay, I'm not sure that the game needs it, but I guess I could see some people wanting it if grinding for equipment isn't the part of the game they enjoy. They have a similar feature in Arkham City, which is unquestionably one of the greatest games of the past decade.

You want to go through the Thieves Guild questline with nightingale armor, to be rewarded with nightingale armor?
