@ Mickers - He has made valid and reasonable points about why he believes as he does. If I were to troll him like you I would have assumed he was a console player and gotten all high and mighty preaching the power of the PC
I can't help but insert CoD ever time I see repetitive...
OT Yes I agree. I am personally waiting for the modding community to get their hands on the CK before I play again.
Just because someone is voicing a complaint, there is no reason to pile on. You can respond civilly or not at all, if you find his stance not relevant to your interests.
Also, what is with the WoW and CoD slagging. is there no tolerance for people who like to play different game, or like to play a lot of different games.
I would say dungeons are not mostly the same, im still finding unique dungeons now and then. And if its too repetitive with those "classes", play some weird one like a character that only uses unarmed and shouts
Can agree that the game is the most fun in the early stages but i don't find the dungeons to be repetative or samey at all aside from that they're pretty linear, which dosen't bother me. Recently came across a dwarven ruin where i could use lockpicking to take shortcuts and eventually got to a ledge where i could fire balistas on enemies below, haven't really seen that before. But yes, the combat system isn't exactly deep so unless you have a varied playstyle from the get go it can get old.
I typically change my play style up a bit now and then to avoid repetitiveness. Some days I'll use a sword and spell, others dual cast or use a staff, and still other times refine my archery skills. I don't play it obsessively or in to contrived a manner either, it keeps things exciting and new for me at any rate.
My advice is to stop fast traveling. It changes the rhythm of the game. Mage is the most varied character if you take every school of magic and restrict some perks. But eventually every game comes to an end.
O! Wanderers in the shadowed land Despair not! For though dark they stand, All games there be must end at last, And see the open sun go past: The setting sun, the rising sun, The day's end, or the day begun.
I agree, Oblivion wasn't like this as it had unique quests, storyline and enemies, but for Skyrim its all about Draugr everywhere I go. As well as unbalanced classes, I'm a lvl 25 or something assassin/thief and I can run up to people without them noticing then when I kill their buddy they don't even care or notice and I'm doing it like on every quest.
But I find the variety of skyrim comes from character crafting. That said anything melée based is super repetitive anD ends up being boring. The more creative classes are better. I like being full out Mage and adjusting my style and picking spells to fit the enemy.
I had ur same sentiments with my initally build by after i started a Mage build it's becoming more enjoyable.
TC, you might want to consider how much hours you've already put into the game. Not everyone is a die-hard fan, not everyone can play the game gameplay into infinity. Just like that guy who played Ninja Gaiden for over a thousand hours. If you feel the game is becomming repetitive then stop playing, atleast until you feel the urge to play again.

lol .Oblivion was nearly unplayable for me until I installed a bunch of mods for it. At least Skyrim is keeping me entertained for the time in an almost vanilla state.
Nope, game can't be repetitive because you choose how to play it. If you do the same thing over and over again, then it's repetivite but that's why you have great replay value with this game, to tell a story a different way and not the same every time. Don't always go to Riverwood or Whiterun at the beginning, go some place different like Falkreath, Markarth or Riften.

I agree. I do miss some of Oblivions questlines. They were longer and better.
I find it funny that people say skyrim dungeons are repetitive. Did you play oblivion?! Those were repetitive dungeons!
Agree 100%, they must not have played Oblivion, game was full of reskins on everything. It was still good if your the type of person that can stand having all the caves, Forts, Ruins look the same but have a different maze setup.
