Sleeping tree sap.

CRAP! I sold the darn spigot. THAT'S what that was for?

Now I'll have to go around tonight and find out who I sold it to. Or go back a few saves.

LOL! I just had that same moment myself, but then I remembered that I saw another one that should still be there. Hopefully...

I tried the sap once...and the view was kinda hard to play with. Everything turned purple and blurry.

Agreed, it makes your gameplay very hard. Kind of like the mage in Winterhold College that tries something on you and everything looks like your the Hulk! Makes it kind of hard to see right in front of you.

Don't worry, I don't think you sold the actual spigot. Go to Sleeping Tree Camp and check the tree. If the spigot isn't there, look around in the water.

Sorry, but there's a funny euphemism in there somewhere.

Well,if is it there its unintentional this time, believe me

So how often can you harvest the sap?

Once a day

Its a sort of "blurry effect"- like when you're drunk or taken some drugs.

I had a spare in Sven's drawers. Wait. I mean in his house. I stashed it there when I was using his home as mine before I purchased Breezewood.
I found it last night as I was moving my stuff. LOL, then I cleaned him out. Took all I could. that's the thanks he gets for helping me.
I snuck into the camp while the giant was away and the tree had one in it. Took some and kept it.

BTW, one of the quests was

Spoiler

to kill the giant? Was that just to be mean or so you could get the sap all the time? I find it more fun to sneak in.
The giants don't really bother with anyone. OMG I tried talking to one once. He wasn't impressed and I got a birds eye view of Skyrim.

He does come to the aid of his Mammoths too, if you mess with them.

I collect it each time I pass by. I just add the bottles to my ever growing collections of potions and poisons.

I finally got this last night. I found the tree but had a terrible time finding the cave as it wasn't showing up on my map or indicators. I went in and the giant raised his club like he wanted to fight. I just walked in anyway and searched the body. I heard a loud boom and figured the giant started a fight. Lydia kept him busy while I searched the chest. About two seconds later Lydia is doing her "I've fallen and I can't get up" routine so I just ran out of the cave with all the loot. Lydia met me outside and I just moved on since the giant never left the cave to pursue us.

Now I just have to go ask my wife about her dealings with this dead tree sap collector...

I always go and take some if I'm bored. It's entertaining enough to look at that queer blue tree in that too blue water.
