You can sell it? Last time I was near the tree, I couldn't get the activate button to show?

That happened to me on my last save, the tap isn't there right? But yeah, when it works, go into the cave near the tree and there will be a body, read the note. Then you can sell it to Ysolda in whiterun for 150 per bottle I think?

The Spigot can fall off the tree sometimes, look for it around the water if that happens you can still harvest if you can find it.

I carried the spigot all the way back to Whiterun for easier harvesting. Worked for a bit but the spigot eventually despawned and respawned back at the tree.

Totally, whoa Ive spent several minutes just looking around trying to realize whats the big deal with that tree, at that time the spigot wasn't attached to the tree, but floating in a corner of the small lake.

Alchemy is also good money. Plants and butterflies everywhere.

The wandering skooma dealers who you can fight also carry the sap.

I had no idea this thing was even in the game. Think I'll go take a look at it, thanks. :)

I tried the sap once...and the view was kinda hard to play with. Everything turned purple and blurry.

I'd always notice that tree when in Whiterun. First time I saw it I thought the texture hadn't rendered properly as it looked purplish and although I did that quest for Ysolda ages ago I guess I must have paid zero attention to what she was saying at the end of it. :P

Well, its fun to have at least one real "drug" in the game - however, i've found the Tree before Ysolda quest the first time ...just imagine my "surprise" discovering the "magic cork"

Ah, so *that's* what the "Spigot" is that I have squirrelled away in a drawer in Honeyside. Every time I discover it I think, "What is this anyway?!", before putting it back! D'oh!

CRAP! I sold the darn spigot. THAT'S what that was for?

Now I'll have to go around tonight and find out who I sold it to. Or go back a few saves.
