Some Breathtaking Screenshots : V - Skyrim

I wish we could get a screenshot feature for the PS3, perhaps an option in the system menu. Those thumbnails on my save files ... some of those would have been amazing screenshots.

One time, I actually saw the mysterious third moon in the sky. Three eclipsed moons in a row with an orange aurora borealis behind them, and no way to preserve the sight. (I was confused for months after that why I had suddenly seen a 3rd moon until I found a lore article about the Khajit that mentioned the apocryphal third moon that was said to sometimes appear during special lunar alignments.)

During a certain quest, you will see the Bloodmoon, is that what you are talking about?

Edit: (sigh) just looking at those screenshots makes my little CPU burn....

I love the site but I will say that it's pretty dumb for them to call it Skyrim porm because that's the first time I've ever heard the word used that way.

Been on the internet long? Using "the word" that way is extremely common, and simply denotes gratuitous ogling of something impressive.

Oh, don't even get me started with those mods. I know of one in particular that doesn't care about the context of threads, and simply moderates on a basis of knee-jerk reaction...

Most of those are the result of "ENB"-type post-processing mods. The one I use is http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=4577. Some more nice pics in the image section on that page....

Thanks for the info on that. So, that would do the depth of field effect?
I really like all the extra trees in Whiterun.
