didnt mehrunes dagon get defeated by a divine? also alduin is a divine and when you wear deadric armour fighting him he`ll say even the daedra fear him.

Corect. Akatosh appeared as a dragon, defeated him and made it impossible for him to physically manifest himself on the plain of Mundus ever again.

The Daedra are not stronger what so ever, in fact, they're quite weak. That is why they rely so heavily on intervening in mortal life.

The Aedra, however, do not. They don't need to consolidate their power through petty deeds or physically manifestation. They're all powerful and they keep the balance consistent on the plains of Aetherius, Mundus and Oblivion. Without them, those plains would fall apart.

Well since the doors to Oblivion were shut in Oblivion there can't really be any daedra other than the lords.
Your knowledge of TES Lore lets you down.

In Oblivion, the whole premise of the game is that the doors to Oblivion have always been shut, and the Mythic Dawn are going around opening them.

In Morrowind, the dragon fires in Cyrodiil are lit.

This does not prevent there from being many many varieties of Daedra roaming around the countryside or occupying a dungeon. In Morrowind.

Meanwhile in Skyrim, you can summon Daedra from Oblivion, and there are a small number of daedra in some dungeons.

So your comment that there can't be any daedra other than the lords in Skyrim is invalid.

The reason there aren't many in Skyrim is ostensibly because the Vigilants have been hunting them down ever since the Oblivion crisis.
