Some of your saddest skyrim moments.

After finding Meeko, I knew I had to take the poor dog in. He faithfully followed J'zargo and myself for god knows how long. Then, up at Shearpoint, a particularly nasty undead, who shall go unnamed, blasted him off of the mountain, killing the poor thing instantly. I carried him from the base of the mountain all the way to his original home in Hjallmarch, next to his first master.

This is all from someone who's never bothered to even try to RP.

When the game crashes...

Always one in very thread ...

Mine was when Lydia bit the bullet and I couldn't be bothered reloading again, she decided to run and take on 2 trolls and 2 bears all at once... didn't end well for her :( I felt so sad, there she was lying motionless in the fall grass, I felt so helpless, been through 2 other companions since, I probably should learn to take better care of them, although my latest has Ebony weapons and Armor :)

Every time my horse dies after coming to my aid; most especially when a dragon fries him/her with their fire. I'll actually re-load in order to prevent their death even though buying a new horse is no big deal money-wise.

Also, letting the sabre tiger free from a cage in one bandit cave and then having to kill it because I couldn't shut the other gate quickly enough to keep it from attacking me. I can't recall the name of the cave but the leader is one with a bounty and he's supposedly very drunk and challening all his brethren to fight him.

Having had to kill certain people who I had nothing against for the dark brotherhood contracts. Had a bout of "assassin's guilt' during the killings and afterwards.

Probably when I and my Followrer, Lydia, was in a major fight in a dungeon against all these undead and then a final undead knight which tok ages to kill. I had to run all the way back through the dungeon trying to delay it on traps. Finally I archered it to death froma safe spot. Took ages.

Lydia was nowhere to be seen. eventually found her among all these skeletal bodies.

I took her and bought her to the end of the Dungeon where I left her propped up against a wall... And left her there in respect. I would`ve taken her out of the dungeon, but the game wouldn`t let me.

That was kinda sad. I know it`s just a basic npc of nothingness, but one can get attached to anything that`s been helping you fight for a long while.

I feel you. This is the reason I work alone. I couldn't stand losing a companion. Although I sacrificed a random [censored] at Boethiahs altar. And for Namira also, but I was seduced by that scary hot cannibal. Felt sad and sorry when I realized what I had done, but then again Daedras can be very convincing and tricky.
I feel really sad when spiders and wolves attack foxes. I like to run along with foxes and like to think they guide me to safe paths.
Oh, and I lost a dog once. Sad moment.

I usually hate to kill innocent people/bystanders, but working as an assassin doesn't bother me though. Except for one contract involving Half-Moon Mill, because I would have wanted to marry the lady who ran the mill. Don't have trouble slaying mercenaries or authorities but killing common people is off putting except when it is a legitimate contract.

Just the other day: having 'accidently' kiilled Talsgar the Wanderer. Was fighting three Imperial armour-clad marauders when Talsgar shows up from nowhere, in front of me attacking them as I did a power attack. Had to kill him. Tried to yield, but I didn't know how.

And also.. one time.. having the choice to slay a certain 'dog', with a certain 'axe', to appease a certain 'Daedra'. Despite how damn annoying the mutt was the whole time he was with me, I didn't have to heart to kill him. Just wanted to oust his company.

Having to kill a certain someone for the Skull of Corruption; missing my wedding with Aela and NOT FINDING HER AFTERWARDS after I did all that work to get her totems of Hircine; realizing that when I leave my many houses, my housecarls don't have wild parties; finding the remains of Habd in the lighthouse and doing a certain something with them; watching Savos Aren after he had to do a certain something to his friends; finding a certain werewolf dead in a burning place; realizing you cannot marry Vex after my missed wedding with Aela; having my friendly wolf companion whom I freed from a cage in the wilderness killed by bandits; having to kill Ulfric Stormcloak.

When companions get infront of my attacks and die. I then have to reload. :( Don't want dead companions. :(
Literally every freaking weapon or magic I use, they run in front of my attacks.
The ai logic to avoid death by dragonborn is crap.
In parts were you have to fight with others, I dar'nt use big spells incase they hit allies.
It's easier to not even bother with companions most of the time.

Kodlak dying is sad. You go away, come back and the silver hand kill him before his dream comes true in life. Poor man. At least he goes to sovngarde after death anyway.
Sad when Skor dies too.

it is sad when you see destroyed caravans with corpses.

Sad when the Black Brotherhood get attacked and a lot of them die and the sanctuary get's destroyed.
What happens to Astrid is horrific. I was like  when I saw her alive and burned.

I was clearing out a fort full of necromancers with meeko. At some point a enemy trapped me behind a corner with his spell. He stood on the other side of a pond laughing an cursing at my hopeless situation, when i noticed meeko was gone. Carefully looking around the corner i see the most amazing sight. Meeko engaging the bastard! he must have flanked him. This gives me the time to rush over to them, but instead of attacking the necromancer i let meeko do it, making sure to keep him healed. He deserves it

Further in we enter a long hallway were a powerful caster makes his last stand. His spells makes it hard for us to move up. Sadly this is exactly what meeko attempts, and i see him go down. Not having time to grieve i retreat behind the corner. The sound of a body being resurrected reaches my ear, and around the corner comes... Meeko. The bastard reanimated my own dog against me! "Fine, if thats how you want to play" i thought and raises one of his dead friends.

After the fight the only thing that is left of meeko is a pile of dust :( Now that, that was a sad moment.

That was the saddest thing. Only a pile of ash left of your best friend. I wish there were a possibility bury your friends and pets, with tombstones and sich or have something to remember them by.

Frostflow Lighthouse. More memorable for me than anything from the main quest, which is unfortunate. But I've always liked Beth games more for the world.
