Probably when I and my Followrer, Lydia, was in a major fight in a dungeon against all these undead and then a final undead knight which tok ages to kill. I had to run all the way back through the dungeon trying to delay it on traps. Finally I archered it to death froma safe spot. Took ages.

Lydia was nowhere to be seen. eventually found her among all these skeletal bodies.

I took her and bought her to the end of the Dungeon where I left her propped up against a wall... And left her there in respect. I would`ve taken her out of the dungeon, but the game wouldn`t let me.

That was kinda sad. I know it`s just a basic npc of nothingness, but one can get attached to anything that`s been helping you fight for a long while.

Having to kill a NPC I liked because a necromancer had raised her after her death. She had origionaly died rushing to my aid after I ran too close to her village with him chasing me as I waited for my magicka to recharge so I could zap him. She didn't turn to dust though for some reason so every time I ride past her village, her cold dead eyes look at me with that look of betrayal... Sniff, I can't go on...

I wound up with a mighty overhand swing of my Ancient Nord Greatsword to finish off a Draugr. Just as I started my swing Meeko rushes in to attack. I couldn't stop in time and Meeko's short yelp of pain as I killed him made me feel like a real scumbag.

Lydia's death was also my saddest moment. If you really did drag her back to the entrance, AWESOME role-play job! I will also drag corpses sometimes, but they are dead enemies that I want to hide so that their comrades don't discover them, or to keep dead animals from looking like road kill.

Seems silly, but it just didn`t seem right to just leave her there among the evil dead after all she had done to help.

And I knew I wasn`t going to reload her so this was really it.

Finding Faendal laying dead in the middle of Riverwood high street and watching as Dorthe rifles through his things in full view of passers by. Damned scavangers. I never really liked Faendal though so I was able to easilly disgregard the scene.

The lack of depth during the college of winterhold missions. Boring old sods.

I once found an Cart with some goods at an Giant Camp where a dead Khajiit lay. I dragged him also to some column with some flowers and dropped him there.

I have to tell you. I accidently cut off Aranea's head during a fight against a fire mage (which involved a couple curse words). This is why there needs to be a resurrection spell...I just bought Hjerim, all proud of myself, bought all the upgrades...can't activate the weapon stands, plaques, or manniquins :(

When a friendly entity (any) gets in your way.

I swear TES games borrow their AI from "Mercenaries" by Pandemic (where you could command everyone you wanted to keep alive to move to a place merely by shooting in that direction and they near tripped over theri tongues trying to get in the way).
