I learned about Skyrim back in Jan 2011. Pre-ordered it in March 2011 and wait almost 11 months for that game to come out, spending time researching and learning about it..

Waiting for less than a month for some updates is nothing!

I will believe it when it happens. Tweets and bethblog postings have proven to be unreliable.

I'm hoping for a DLC announcement and a pre-announcement for Fallout 4 :D

But it'll probably be some stupid MMORPG or something :(

Like I said, I'm not crossing my fingers though.

I'm sure it's prolly just 1.5 ...
I see no reason why it couldn't be both the patch AND DLC .

How could it be an MMO? He specifically said Skyrim. Not TES in general.

Hopefully they announce the first DLC. Skyrim is kind of getting boring for me since I'm on the console with no new content... :(

I am hoping that it will confirm whether or not the rumors that "riders of hammerfell" will be the first expansion and will introduce mounted combat.

Don't we already have that?
You're right. Bethesda released patch 1.5 on March 20.

You have the capacity to read other people's minds or the right to use majestic plural like the pope ?

However - apart from joke - i suppose that the "easter egg surprise" :bunny: will probably be the first Dlc announcement as i've said earlier here.

Frankly, I'd pissed if they put out a DLC and it included horse armor. Of all the things that could be done, armor for an animal who's only decent purpose is to help carry more loot would be the lamest thing ever.

New map areas, questlines, etc. That's what should be in a DLC. Not protective clothing for animals. But if that's the case then I want to be able to craft ebony mail for chickens.

thats about ill im excited for, lol. Ill wait for official news on dlc's for skyrim, its months after i stopped playing, and still no dlc info, hell they could make 8 updates for the damned game and still need updates, at that rate, there will never EVER be an expansion.

You missed the point, if they wait until the game is 100 percent perfect, no glitches, there will never be an expansion, because thats what people seem to want on this forum, they want all glitches gone, then expansion, which will NEVER happen. And thats why im getting witcher 2 on 360. More Quality control.

I'm beginning to wonder if it isn't a bit of a shame Bethesda decided on (paraphrasing) "fewer, larger, more expansion-like DLCs... unlike Fallout."

Personally the multitude of small expansions they made for Fallout kept me happy as a clam for about a year. The interminable wait for this as yet mythical 'massive' expansion just means I have to spend way more time checking this forum for news, instead of swanning about Skyrim.

Give me a "Space Station Zeta' over reading about 'Issues with Patch 1.4" any day.

Agreed. Or something like the Sierra Madre casino expansion in FO NV.

Oh right, i had forgotten about that one :swear:

But if you want to get technical, the high-resolution textures pack for PC was the first DLC

So does this mean xbox users have ground for a class action lawsuit for false advertisemant and all? :bolt:

Yes, I specifically bought the xbox version to get the first DLC, as advertised. I feel cheated. SHOW ME THE MONEY!

I'll settle for free horse armour.
