Beth Guy?
You scared him off? LOL!
No. I'm not with Bethesda, but took it as a compliment though. Haha! If I were with Bethesda, I would certainly not leak information, which would end my career with the studio. Although, some game developers are just ready to call it quits, and do leak info. Dont know how often that happens, or if its very rare. Not sure how strict Bethesda is with keeping their mouths shut.
I'm just another guy giving his opinion, like the rest of you...
I wonder...
Was the ShiveringIsles DLC at the time, for Oblivion leaked at all?
Or... Was it a simple trailer for the ShiveringIsles DLC, that just kinda came out of nowhere?
The weird thing about the ShiveringIsles DLC, was that you could not only download the expansion, but you also had the option to purchase a separate Disk to install... Why? Why would they go through all that effort making a separate disk, when it could be easily purchased online? I could possibly understand, that many players were just not playing Online. I just didnt really get that whole separate disk install. You could then argue that people, even as of now, are playing Skyrim Offline. Since, it is a massive single player experience.
Are they just completely negated from a DLC, that would offer them so much new gameplay, that is afterall, a single player experience...
And, to why Bethesda had marketed prior DLCs Online, as well an optional Separate Disk purchase. This then leads me back to the question of... If Bethesda offered the ShiveringIsles in disk format, then shouldn't a Skyrim DLC have the same Disk Option...
I know I'm asking a ton of questions here, but it would be interesting to hear your take on this!
