When I'm decorating my house, I usually like to listen to Say G and E by the Grouch and Eligh.

Which won't be till i'm about to beat the game, my type of music ruins the experience.

Uhmm, probably The Berzerker for when i go on a killing spree.

Or... maybe Mortician,Pitchshifter,Fear Factory,Nothingface the list goes on. But i won't be doing that for awhile as i prefer being immersed in the atmosphere and my style of music kind of ruins it.

How bout some real metal like Judas Priest?

Or listen to some Frank Sinatra or Johnny Cash.

I'll probably throw in some classic atmospheric Fallout songs in my game for personal use. Unless the music for New Vegas is really good. Otherwise... I really want "Ain't that a kick in the Head" to play automatically the first time you turn on NV radio. It'd feel great to walk out of Doc Mitchell's house having that play.

Ouch, real metal? By today's standards older stuff like that isn't really classified as metal. I don't want to fight or anything.

I'm not saying it's not metal but in today's society, if you go up to some younger kid like 12-18 and talk about metal they will bring up stuff like *shudders* Slipknot, the devil wears prada etc.

Genres are subjective, so "real metal" has no definition anyway. Besides, I'd say most kids around my age enjoy both old and new music.

I think many of you will love this song. It's a Frank Sinatra type version of Disturbed's "Down With the Sickness." Perfect for evil wastelanders in particular. The last minute is especially great. The song was used in Dawn of the Dead.

If you listen to the lyrics in born treacherous which it goes something like "Let me have my world, let me keep my slaves" it relates to casear's legion domination for control and enslavement process to takeover new vegas.

love DB, and ne fan of them is a coolguy in my book.

New Vegas Radio, with an extender mod, and all of the FO3 soundtrack added. Also the 80 tracks in the "More GNR" mod, some Elvis, and Mack The Knife. Sometimes the music syncs beautifully with what you are doing (you're going mad with a knife and Butcher Pete comes on etc) and sometimes it doesn't. But some slow bluesy number while you're in the middle of the biggest battle you've played yet, supermutants and fatmen flying everywhere, does give it a lovely surreal "Apocalypse Now" type feeling.

OT, but does anyone know how far ahead we're going to go, musically, in this series? The dress is 50s, the music is 50s, yet we have punky raiders and such. Will the alternate universe stretch to the Beatles? Led Zepellin? The six Pistols? Metallica? Public Enemy? Orbital? What is the point, in music terms, that the Fallout Universe didn't progress beyond?

The farthest I'd say would be early 60s and that would be it.

Also I hope they start creating their own wasteland music(but thats a bit much for a video game)
