Sound Volume Issues Thread #2

No mention of a sound fix in the patch note.

They've been avoiding this I fear.

They don't seem to realize there is a problem.

I think they do...
Why did Gstaff email me earlier then (like 1-1,5 months ago), asking for my sound hardware settings concerning this sound problem?

I think they're still working on it... I hope.

Apparently they added a new sound glitch with this patch, so I doubt it.

Good surprise,
With set stereo (2.1 speakers) to 5.1 (activating just my 3 devices) in Realtek driver, the sound is now OK !
Before the 1.4 update, with this setup, when you spoke with a npc, if you was facing him, there was non sound, now it's OK !!!

I start Skyrim this weekend !!!

I don't understand how this game can't support a basic 2.1 speaker configuration.

This. Why is there no option for this at all?
I mean, seriously, it should be in the sound options on Skyrim to change from 5.1 to 2.1.
It's standard for most other games to detect your setup automatically or allow you to change it manually. Why not Skyrim?
