i like split screen, not many of my friends that live close by has a ps3

I don't care if they add it though, wouldn't bother me

Splitscreen isn't in the game.

As a PC user this isn't something that affects me. I think it's great if it could have been included but I'm guessing they couldn't.

I think it would be cool to have the game in split-screen, They had it on Halo 3, And I totally loved it..lol
And it was split-screen Online which was even better!

HELL YES. do companys know how many college kids are sitting together playing halo 3 with one another becasue its the ONLY game that supports 4 player splitscreen ONLINE. just put it in the game and update it later, the amount of 4 player online games is a joke. (If you know of any PLEASE post them, I only have an XBOX. For the life of me I havent found more than 1 game that supports more than 4-players) even left 4 dead is 2 player splitscreen.

halo will be around forever because it does the split, in fact, almsot every awesome game in history has done this.
This is the point of video games, for friends to come together and have fun, now its "o hear my story tee hee, kill 1000000 poeple, mlg harhar"
I can guarentee you this game will be twice the fun splitscreen.

The trend of gamers being with others is old and out of style, i mean, who wants to play with their friends in the same room? PSH I'd rather sit at home alone all day playing online with poeple I dont know.
Not many poeple I know even own consoles. at partys its always halo or guitar hero, and probably Just Cause =P.

I have been just so tired of picking up games these days and seeing 1 player on the back, makes me change my mind pretty quickly.

If the amount of room on the tv bothers you, buy a bigger tv. like teddy said, no one is forcing you to use splitscreen. in the end, the screen size dont matter too much if your good ;P

This has been bothering me for the longest time, and will continue to until games change.



Since its already been determined that this wont have splitscreen, ill get the demo and play in my freetime. =\ not spending 60 on something i cant even play with my friends next to me, they have to be at their own house apparently.

Now that was a post, 4 way split screen games that are online too, don't think there are many out there, hell there isnt many 2 way ones either. I think your on to one of the reasons halo is still so popular (Given that every game i seem to join now is full of [censored] and idiots) the the 4 way split online play.

my tv is 72 in. and splitscreen bothers me so i wonder how ppl with smaller tvs feel

We know there isn't going to be splitscreen so in my mind there isn't much of a point to having a discussion on whether or not we want it.

i suppose they could put split-screen in, but i don't see why it's necessary, and atm i prefer they wouldn't, just in case it might delay the game again

ive got agree i mean most of my mates dont have ps3 so when they come round mine we play splittscreem and online splitscreem was really fun to play

its only great when you're playing halo

Well we don't really know if it's great on other games because halo is basically the only one that supports it. plus he has a ps3 so he can't comprehend the power of halo

I don't see how splitscreen could hurt the game besides pushing back the release date

I stand by including split screen. Still the size of the screen, I mean would splitscreen even bother you if it wasn't included? If your that against splitscreen that you dont want it, then thats cool, no ones going to force you to play it. Its really just an option for the people who just want to play with the people sitting literally right next to them. I know that will kill processors if run on full gfx, the whole game would have to be low poly modeled with low res textures just to have the fps at a decent number. If they can find a way to do splitscreen it would be so awesome. In fact, that could even be a cool update for the game, or if someone gets greedy, make it a DLC pack for splitscreen and some like co op campaign areas.

Not having splitscreen really stereo types that video games are not multiplayer, sure your online, but eventually it feels just like bots, some are good, some horrid and just broken?

Splitscreen on the computer, of course, thats not going to happen, LAN play is still around, I live near a few LAN centers for games, that would be awesome if this was included there.

Having no splitscreen for a multiplayer game, logically doesnt make sense other than for business reasons, which are the exact ones I bet that are determining whether or not to include splitscreen anymore in games.

I don't know anyone who made a fuss about it when it was included in games.

I'm none to bothered either way, if its in its in, if not its not.
