No Spoliers! Dead Money hints for PC & PS3 players

but can you get to those containers after finishing the dlc?

I'd better hide this--
Spoiler
You can remain in the Sierra Madre after the quest is complete, continuing to explore, gamble, etc. Only one area cannot be revisited. BUT once you exit the DLC you cannot return. Clicking on the main gate (there is storage right beside it) teleports you to a place in the Wasteland (where there is storage), so encumbrance is only a momentary problem. Some of the storage in the Wasteland area resets, though -- use the metal boxes to be safe.

As others have said you Need to pay attention to what's being said and to everything around you.
Using multiple saves and often again is probably a must.
Be cautious and look before moving (although at one point you will have to move fast, you'll know it when you get to it).

Should i bring a high lvl character to Dead Money or start a new one?

I always liked starting a new character for the FO3 dlc's.

I'm pretty sure the beginning of the DLC has a pop-up telling you that it is recommended for level 20+ players.

I don't think this is a Dead Money hint, it seems like random trivia about Fallout, so why does the topic need to close?

I have a spoilerific question, but fortunately there are spoiler tags. If you click to open it, you have no one but yourself to blame for being spoiled.

Spoiler

I read that you can either kill Elijah, or lock him in the vault. However, I've heard that you can loot excessively heavy gold bars worth quite a fortune from the vault. Now, I'm a "cruel mercy" type of person, so I kinda wanna lock the psycho in the vault. Will this mean I can never get anything out of the vault, or is there some opportunity to get in there and loot it before I lock Elijah in there?

Also, is there anything else in the vault of value that isn't a spoilery quest-related item? If it's spoilery, just say "it's a spoilery item" or somesuch.

He's blundered into the wrong thread. Should gave posted in the 'Character returning from F3' thread.
Good idea to check the IMDB, though.
