ty. if i make the mod, it's going to be about a group of Altmer researcher studying an ancient labyrinth. and the player helps them defeatr the tainted being down below. so, a 5-level superdungeon with a questline. 3 new followes (maybe more), a female and two males, all of whom will me eligible for marriage (i think. i have the female, Erissa, 10% fully planned out, haven't started the other two yet.) the camp will be on a remote island, a new cell(s), and will maybe have a small village of high elves, maybe one or two NPCs that aren't Altmer.
it may take a while before i make it tho, i need to get skyrim, and then learn a bit of papyrus. i play it on my friends xbox, but in a couple of weeks i might get it of my report card is good.

and yes, their lore is very interesting, i really want to see the summerset isles too.

the thalmor are like nazis. they kicked every non-mer out of the Summerset Isles. kinda makes a TES game in SS isles difficult, as there are only elves apparently.

I decided to have a female Altmer as I'd never previously used them. I had intended her to be a mage, naturally, but when I saw how tall she was I thought "This girl's just made for wielding a greatsword! " She is so imposing and has taken to melee combat like a Nord, she hates the Thalmor with a passion and kills them on sight. She's gonna have a blood fest at the Thalmor embassy reception !!

"I suppose it is my duty to help those... less fortunate than myself" and that would be coming from the dirt poor altmer in Gnaar Mok. The scoundrel!

I use them for my warriors simply because they are the biggest model in the game and I think warriors should be big. I think they should have made orcs the biggest but oh well.

Anyway, I never played a High Elf before. Didn't bother in Morrowind, and In Oblivion they were just so...yellow! Ugh, hideous. I love the way they look now. Exotic and powerful. The females are gorgeous! So I am getting ready to make my second one. The forst was a Dest/Conj mage in Daedirc Armor. This one will be Conj/Illusion and in robes.

Im indifferent to altmer. Though they are generally condescending towards other races. And that's totally expressed with the thalmor.

Ya, I love being 2 feet bigger than wood elves, looking twice as strong as Orc berserkers, and moving fast even when in heavy armor. Really awesome race! Just wish I had more options when changing their complection.

I find that my favorite Altmer are the humble ones and the non racist/patriotic ones.

In those cases they are some of the coolest people you can ever meet. The Thalmor really give them a bad name.

I really liked Sinderion in Oblivion. Even though he sent me after like 5000 Nirnroots, he was really nice and cool.

They arent as bad as their reputation might be.I kinda like them.I just couldn't get over the golden skin..thats something i really hate.

Altmer forever!

Played two Altmer mages in Oblivion. A head taller than everyone else and magically efficient, what's not to like?

I also love the new golden look they have in Skyrim. I will start playing an Altmer character in Skyrim soon (a mage/assassin nightblade-kind of character) and I'm really looking forward to it.
Skyrim Main Quest spoilers:

Mehhh, I think the women look like azzzz and the Breton mr and dragon skin are the best race powers.
And the thalmor really make the altmer more annoying if possible.
I haven't checked their running speed. I do have two characters I started for future rp's. Both altmer, one will be a psijiic and the other a dwemer. Made him black hair, beard and as hulking as possible. Will use dwarven armor and weapons and shock magic only.
