I surrender Bethesda...

And that is probably the thing that annoys me the most about these forums. Last time I'm going to say this before I just totally give up and never look at these forums again... NOT EVERYONE CAN AFFORD A £600 OR ANY OTHER PRICE RANGE IN ANY OTHER CURRENCY COMPUTER! The game was ported over FROM the CONSOLE therefore it SHOULD work on the CONSOLE!! Why do you damn PC elitests have to come in and post your crap on every topic on this forum? :swear:

If you didn't notice, they kinda hate the fact console versions exist.

It's generally not a good idea to post tech issues in the general forums because you get [censored] responses and denials of such problems. There is not much you can do with a console to fix such issues and it's a case of bad luck when hitting bugs sometimes.

Yeah, but I've tried in the Issues Forums to no avail. I even called out the admins/mods and THEY wouldn't even say anything.. what's that tell you?

That they moderate the forum? They don't work on the game, nor are they Bethesda employees.

Have you tried contacting Bethesda?

I have had no issues whatsoever with the 1.4 patch. My textures have suddenly stopped loading properly sometimes, but that was happening before. Restarting my console usually fixed it.
I have literally no idea how to help. Guess we just have to hope it gets fixed in the enevitable 1.5 patch.

A question to the op. how many saves do you have? Is the game installed in the hd?
Do you get the same result when playing from the disc?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pound_sterling Read it. Thoroughly.

And for a DECENT gaming PC, yes, it is £600+

Oh yeah, last thing. That "cultured American" was a hell of a laugh. Thanks for that. :thanks:

That "dumb weird E" is a pound sign, a pound being the British form of currency.

So either 1.) you're uneducated on what a "pound" is, and therefore you shouldn't criticize people for using the "dumb weirdo E" when you don't know what it is or 2.) you're taking an unnecessary shot at someone for not being American, which is an inappropriate behavior for the conversation at hand.

On topic: svcks to hear about this issue, but I haven't seen any problems yet. The one texture bug that I did get cleared up as soon as I loaded into a new area. I haven't noticed any problems with dragons. I, too, am playing on the X-Box 360.
WOW!
That has to be THE stupidest thing I've read on here full stop.

Pound Sterling. Google it.

It was just a joke, but okay?

I know what a pound is, guys. Calm down.

Mmmmmmkay. Next time, try to weave in some humour in your jokes, not just nationalical stereotypical elitism and random stereotypical behaviour and ignorance.

Sorry, I'll try harder next time.

There wasn't any elitism in my joke, I'm just having a little fun.

Seriously guys? Why is everyone so upset? I make a small joke about currency signs and suddenly the internet is serious business?

I have 3 saves, diff. chars. My Nord being the highest LV. My game WAS installed to the HDD during 1.3.5.0 and I never ONCE had an issue with textures. Hell they loaded FASTER and popped in quicker then off the disc.

Yes, I get THE EXACT same results from playing off disc. Only exception is "some" textures come back like Barrels, Benches, inventory items.. but that's it. And NOW it's highly affecting indoor areas...

I just went into Jorrvaskr to turn in the quest I did with Farkas. The stairs, rugs, fireplace.. literally every little thing in here looks like something from the N64 days...

i have 117 hours in, 12mb save file. and ive never had a huge problem, wait, i did once, when skyrim was literally in the sky, and i was walking a barren plain, but i deleted the game data and reinstalled it, and its been fine ever since, thats was at about 113 hours. but i NEVER had one major issue, a few freezes here and there, but nothing gamebreaking, i guess i just got a good copy or something. try this...i dont know if it was coincedence or not but....delete all your sent and received messages, and keep you skyrim saves to under 20. i told some people about that and they noticed a big difference

I noticed I had close to around 8-10 msgs in my Inbox. But why would that be relevant in any way?

Sorry for the double post but... you were actually kinda right bro in a way.. weird.

How the hell would my inbox affect game performance? I don't get that one bit..

But I went back into Jorrvaskr.. running into the door it's texture came in. Once inside the stairs and all that other stuff was coming back.

MIND YOU they didn't come back to high res (because I prolly gotta format ONE more time..), but they were coming back whenever I would run into objects..

I'm going to have to try and fix this ONE last time.. this is seriously the final time I try and fix this game. Why? Because I SHOULDN'T HAVE to as a consumer.. I already paid 60$ isn't that enough?

It's the devs jobs to fix this game quite frankly, not mine. Hell leave it up to the modders already to fix this game?

Bahaha I hope you guys realize he was making a joke and not being serious. He even added a smiley at the end for obvious sarcasm, lol @ people telling him to google British Pounds. Am I the only one who noticed that? Christ
