I was just reading another thread which mentioned that Imperials are like politicians and Altmer are like nerds.
That got me thinking as to what stereotypes the other races represent, obviously this is all based on opinion as we will never be able to fully compare a nerd to an Altmer, right?
So, what do the other 8 races represent, in your opinion.
In my opinion, they are as follows.
This has been done quite some times now. But here goes mine...
Nords - ancient Norse / Scandinavian branching into later Teutonic era - people with love for war, weapons & armors but also good at travel & trade.
Imperial = ancient Rome, ancient Greek, branching slightly into later southern & central Europe (as seen by some later armors and galleon war ships)
Breton = ancient pre-Roman British / French Celts. Celtic druid / witch / wizard culture (like Merlin) - a people closer to nature.
Redguard = African Sahara (cities build around great sandy desert. People ranging from Mediterranean Arab to black African. Sahara type clothing)
Khajiit = Indian / Persian (light armored swordsmen, good with bow, drug fuelled assassins, Gypsy caravan traders - Romani Gypsies are originally from India)
Argonian = Native Americans - Perhaps Aztec / Incas or something.
Altmer & Bosmer = south east Asia. Bosmer like cannibal tribesman of SE Asian rainforests or the later Khmer Rouge. Altmer more like an Atlantis themed race or an ancient version of the modern metropolis Singapore
Maormer = Maori / Polynesian
Dunmer = Turkic, Mongol & Chinese people of Central Asia
Orsimer = Huns (originally came from Northern China but wandered Europe as a frightening warrior race of ugly appearance)
