This is pretty awesome.

Are the Skyrim engine and the FO:NV engine similar enough that these improvements could be (easily) moved over to FO:NV?

Everything seems to work now :) I keep being in disbelief as play this game almost flawlessly on my low end laptop.. After Oblibion brought my shiny new desktop system to it's knees when it was released I never thought this would be possible. So thanks for this and merry christmas!

Maybe a possible bug, maybe not. Just seen a 3 thalmor justicars on the road without prisoner. Is it normal? Never seen them in the game without prisoners before. It looks good to me, but knowing that beth scripting events looks pretty much same i'm not sure...

That bug has nothing to do with TESVAL... it has something to do with the game itself.. even before TESVAL surfaced, I already have experienced that... so its a bug in the game itself... I suggest try to reload a save if it bothers you... as for me, I just get rid of those thalmor even without a prisoner haha

so just to clarify the version on the nexus is the fixed DLL that doesn't break quests, just read every comment and forum post I could find on the issue (still slightly uncomfortable with 3rd party Dll's, my PC is my job and if i get a virus well, put it this way.. my boy doesn't eat...)

I've loaded previous save after without the mod and havent seen them again. These events I guess is a part of radiant story, so theyre pretty random.

Yeah, thats why i'm not sure. Just havent seen that before - justicars on a road without prisoner. Hell, who knows. If anybody can report that they've seen them without prisoner in vanilla, then its working as it should.

Well, I have seen them without prisoners back in vanilla a long time ago, and with almost no mods installed. In fact the first ones i saw, had no prisoner. Coming over the pass from the direction of Ivarstead, down that backroad towards Helgen.

Good news to me, thanks. Love the variety of the game and random encounters/scripts. Btw, just pretty drunk here, haha. I heard that Creation Kit will have an option for modifying/adding new events of radiant story. Thats sound pretty epic to me. TES world was never so alive before and on par with Gothic 2 to me (whole game feels like Morrowind + Gothic II ...and a bit of Fallout 3, and I love it). Just imagine what modders can do with radiant story with SKSE support. It will be pure alive world filled with thousands unique events. Nothing been like that before in any single player rpg. Prepare yourself for some really epic alive fantasy world. [censored], I just love this game!

I have seen them several times, in fact, once I saw a group of Thalmor being attacked by a Troll, the Troll killed the prisoner, the Thalmor killed the Troll and continued on their way, so I dont think this would be something weird, its worth checking anyhow.

The current version on Nexus is the one I downloaded from the SKSE sight that was uploaded by ianpatt after I went to bed last night. Is there any difference between that one and the one that Rencen suggested I upload?

They probably do, but it's irrelevant. This shouldn't alter any files.

my humble Q8400 quad 2.66ghz, 4GB RAM and an old 9800GT 1GB PC is running at a stable 31FPS with texture packs and 2x AA and AF after using this mod/code tweak and the FPS limiter. Anyone who wants a smooth experience use this with the FPS limiter, it's incredible. This mod is great I'm getting 31FPS everywhere :)

I've run into 3 Thalmor before without a prisoner that were fighting a few bandits.
What's funny is seeing the Kajhit merchants running like heck to go to their next city

When the Thalmor come for you it is in threes.

Kill them to see if they have an execution note on them. If they do then something may be preventing them from attacking you - which they should.

Does Valve allow us to alter our Skyrim files with this mod? I don't want to get banned from Steam.

VAC doesn't enter into the equation for Skyrim, as it's a single player game.

You can do whatever you like to the files on your disk.

Havent played Skyrim in a couple days and all I have is the version 1 of this that's "broken". Do I just need to re-download TESVAL then and drop it in my plugins folder?
